Lalo's Fast Food Jr. — Restaurant in Ventura

My family and I went to this Lalo's on Sunday, July 30th. We went in to try a new place for us for the first time because I had a coupon provided by the local guide coupon book, which led us there. I was surprised by the fact that it's called "Fast Food" when, in fact, the quality of the food is much greater than your average fast food. Along with the complimentary chips and salsa, my partner and I shared the Molcajete Mar y Tierra. We were in Awe! It was suuuper delicious and a great portion to share. The service was also great. The food came out fast, and our waitress was attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly (I forgot to catch her name, sorry). My only issue was this: When it came time to pay, they did not honor the coupon. I got a whole speil by the manager about how the owner decided to change the stipulations of the coupon, but nowhere on that coupon were the details put in place. Is that not false advertisement? Placed a pick-up order. The business was pretty busy and the woman who "helped" me with my order was annoyed at the fact I asked if salsa came with what had been ordered. When asked what kind of salsa they had she stated abruptly red and green like it was a dumb question. Due to the unfriendly experience I didnt check the order before I left, my bad. Got home and the order was in fact wrong. When I called they wanted me to drive my whole order placed back 15 minutes which would have been fine if part of the order wasn't nachos. So to drive back there and home again 1/2 hour with nachos that were frankly already soggy when I got home the first time was a no go for us. She didn't seem to care the order was wrong. Had almost everything on the menu and it's all pretty good. They dont give much rice and beans on everything which is what I love most. Even my wet burrito was FULL of meat. Barely and beans or rice. I like to have beams at least. Had the chilli cheese fries which is just pinto beans and asada on top. Not what we expected. The tacos and tostadas stay crunchy during takeout so that's a plus. Fajitas came with shredded lettuce and sour cream and guac on top which I didnt expect but I was able to take that off and they were okay. I expected more veggies though.
