Sun Village Donuts — Restaurant in Ventura

My fiancé has come here her whole life and says while the ownership has changed a couple times over the years, the donuts are still delicious, fairly priced, and the owners are still friendly. We normally get them to go, but the shop itself offers a couple booths for seating and the shop is small, never really full and has a cute, comfortable vibe, so it would be a great place to swing by for a quick but casual brunch or snack. They're open all days of the week and have a lot of yummy donuts, breakfast sandwiches...

We ordered the number donut for our son’s birthday and it was a huge success. The donuts are delicious there, the big one was perfect inside and out and was more than enough to serve 8 people. The business was really easy/friendly to work with, plus the price was good and well worth it! We will definitely go in every time we go to Grocery Outlet now that we’ve discovered this neighborhood gem. They also carry chocolate chip rolls (A+) and many other tempting and beautiful varieties. GREAT variety of donuts. My favorite donut (chocolate glazed raised, with nuts) is not usually available at most donut shops. Many other donut shops are cutting back on their selection, but I can always count on them to have some of my favorite kind of donuts, fresh and ready to go. It is a family run shop.
