When we first arrived a waitress stepped on my foot at almost tripped me. They no longer serve calamari as an appetizer so of course I was disappointed. I ordered the shrimp and clam in red sauce with linguine and lobster bisque soup. They tried to serve me tomato basil soup because they were out of the lobster bisque but didn't inform me they were out. I changed it to the Italian wedding soup. When my meal came out it had angel hair pasta instead of linguine which unfortunately wasn't fully cooked because it was clumped together at the bottom of my dish. Losing my appetite the waitress insisted she would make one for the road and would be free and I would not be charged. When we receive the bill she was still trying to charge me and blamed it on her supervisor. When I spoke to the supervisor and explained what had happened she was happy to take it off the bill. I then explained to the supervisor that where they have me seated I could clearly see into the kitchen where three of their servers were vaping while preparing food. This is a restaurant that my wife and I would always come to for date night but it had been a while. I'm pretty sure my wife and I will...
Read moreI give a seminar once a month in this area. A local told me about salvatores and I gave it a shot. We arrived at 8.00 , 12 people, one table 9 persons one table 3 persons. I tried to order the shrimp as a starter but they are not anymore available and never will be again ( maybe take it of the menu), so I ordered Bruschetta. I really liked the Bruschetta and the other bread we got. I ordered Lasagna, that arrived 2 hours and 15 minutes after we arrived, just in the moment all my seminar guests got their check. The waiter told me before ,that my lasagna dropped and tried to give me some pasta with one meatball for in between. If I want pasta with meatball I would have ordered it. I am not used to bad service like this, I travel the country for seminars the whole year and eat out week for week in different states and cities. Things can happen but for me most important is that the restaurant shows respect to the group of people, sadly people did not eat their dish before I got mine and I had to tell them to start multiple times. Let me know if you guys want make up for it. Sorry for my English but I am German/Italian and only here since...
Read moreWhat a delightful place, I can't wait to go back and actually eat their food! Stopped in for dessert after having dinner somewhere else as I had no idea that Salvatore's Ristorante Italiano Restaurant was even around. I actually googled " Dessert near me" and they popped up. I had a delicious piece of my favorite dessert of all time Tiramisu...it was so good! My Sister had the Lemon cream cake, my second choice. Light and creamy...next time! My Mother had a chocolate peanut butter dessert that was rich and delicious. The biggest most pleasant surprise came as the lady at the booth next to us got up and started walking out. I noticed I knew this person and not only did I know this person but I have not seen her since high school graduation. She proceeded to tell me that her and her husband owned the restaurant! I will most definitely be going back and will update this review with my experience with their amazing looking food. Not sure what the actual name was of this huge Stromboli or Calzone looking thing I saw being served but oh my goodness deliciousness for sure! Best of Luck and God bless your...
