First: the food. The Egg Foo Young had a different gravy than I'm used to, but it was pretty good. The Egg Roll was smaller than most (long and thin) and the first two bites were nothing but roll. Again, it was tasty. The shrimp chips tasted different than I'm used to. Didn't taste like shrimp, but we're good. Only about 12 chips for $2.00 The house rice was the problem. When I opened the container, I was reminded of my dad's '70 AMC Hornet. . .and the ashtray within. The rice tasted smoky and I found several burned rice and some blackened green onions/shallots. Overall it's edible, but I won't enjoy it. The service: I stopped in a couple of days before and waited about 10 minutes, rang the bell for service twice while people twice came from the kitchen to hand over delivery orders and nobody said a word to me, so I left. Everybody has bad nights and they did seem busy. That's why I gave them another try today. They were very nice and polite to me today and on the phone. I have 5 Chinese restaurants within 5-15 minutes of my house, so I won't give these guys another try. As if to add insult to injury, the two fortune cookies they graciously gave to me had no fortunes. Maybe that's a clue. Nice place, nice people, fair prices, average food. Not worth my 35...
Read moreI am writing this to tell you that the women that runs the counter in this place is super nice she is so patient and sweet and the food! Don’t even get me started! I took my mom there because we were running around we got the orange chicken steamed potstickers and shrimp lo-mein and everything was brought out and smelled amazing but the taste. Oh my, it tasted phenomenal the best lo-mein I have ever had. So what people complain that it takes a hot minute to get the food, so what it’s served in styrofoam trays so what it’s not brought out to you on a silver platter any day of the week I would trade all of those for her hard work and amazing service and the taste of that chicken, the taste of those noodles, just amazing nothing I have tried before has beaten that.
Just an amazing set of people there. Ignore all of the 1 star reviews saying “oh there’s too little chicken” She asks you if you want it spicy she explains the individual spices and she tells you that you can order extra if you want!
She is an amazing person please please please go here I have went here so many times and it just seems to get...
Read moreThis was our first time going there(Boyfriend) it had 4.2 stars so thought ok this place must be good! The decor and fish tank was cute! The waitress was really nice and sweet. The food was not good at all! Reminded me of Chinese food you buy from the groccery store and warm up yuck! I got Wongton Soup it had a funny taste to it. Boyfriend had egg drop soup his was good! We got crab ragoons (however you spell it) they were ok. I did like their sweet sour sauce and egg rolls were good! I got the lemon chicken, the chicken was chewy and no lemon flavor at all! The rice was a weird taste! The portions were small(maybe lunch portions) my boyfriend got pepper steak it was good but way to much vegetables and hardly any steak. I have him 90% of my meal and went home hungry. I didn't complain, I just didn't like their food. I also hate when Chinese places charge you for their can pop! I ended up paying 25.00 inculding tip for...
