Linwood has been with our friends and family for many years now. The cottage owners we've worked with have been great and very accommodating. Being a gated community you get a certain sense of safety and peace-of- mind but it also means you have more beach to stretch out on during the day. The park is very well kept and you can always visit The Stand for some refreshments or ice cream. Linwood is very close to stores and the annual Fish Festival which has live music and tons of vendor stations. Feel free to watch the boats or launch a kayak right off the beach. Sunsets are fantastic over Lake Erie. And Cedar Point is only a half hour away. The price for admission is reasonable but it can get expensive when you add in weekly rent and all the food/amenities you'll need. Very nice little place at first but then you start to feel like you've entered into a small trapping town from horrible scary movie. Everyone seems super close not and outsiders dont seem welcome.
