Alessandro's Pizza Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in Vernon

I ordered a small pizza and the strawberry salad. When the order arrived the pizza was cold, not a big deal and maybe out of their control. So I heated it up. Maybe I’m spoiled being from the east coast, but I would’ve been happier with a Digiorno frozen pizza. The pizza in spots wasn’t cooked all the way through so there was raw dough under the toppings. The taste of the crust and the sauce actually reminded me of a frozen pizza. We weren’t able to eat the whole pizza because it wasn’t cooked through.

The “Strawberry” salad was a scam and was inedible. It was a plastic container of spinach and arugula, dusted with feta cheese. So minuscule in fact the only cheese was stuck to the spinach and arugula. The salad dressing when it arrived had opened and was all over the bottom of the plastic bag it came in. Maybe next time the salad dressing should go in the container with the lettuce. Oh and get this Zero strawberries in a “ Strawberry” salad. So I paid 14$ for a container of spinach and arugula without dressing or topping lol. I don’t know how this thing was let...

I ordered from doordash. I chose this place because they had a deluxe Margherita Pizza that looked amazing in the photo. I also chose this place because it had a 4.9 rating. I also chose this place because it was going to be delivered in less than 30 minutes. 40 minutes later I get my pizza and it is cold and tastes like it's been sitting in a frat house for about a week. I don't understand how you can mess up pizza but this is probably the worst pizza I've ever had. The cheese was separating and look odd. The dough felt like plastic and the basil was chopped which I am not a fan of on a Margherita pizza. It's supposed to be whole basil leaves and whole slices of tomatoes. I chose the deluxe because it included mushrooms and some olives. But holy olives batman! There was like an actual mountain of olives basically covering everything else on the pizza. I'm sorry! I just had such high hopes and now my Margherita pizza-eating dreams are shattered on Taco Tuesday......

We ordered the combination pizza and chicken tenders. The pizza wasn’t bad but it was necessarily good either. Like it was good enough to eat but wasn’t memorable. The chicken tenders were better than the pizza however it’s $13 for 5 and you gotta pay extra for a dipping sauce. The customer service was better than most but there wasn’t anything special about it. We’ll be back if we got the late night munchies since they’re open from 7 am- 5am but if it’s during the day or evening and there’s more options, we...
