I am not one to write Google reviews but had to in this case - I am a lifelong Verona resident- I have frequently ordered carryout from other local so thought I would give them a try -walked in & saw it was a busy Sunday evening so I was expecting a wait. Placed my 2 dinner order - all of the food coming out of the kitchen looked GREAT - I could see the kitchen staff was working very efficiently & the teenage "waitress" was just working very hard to get the food out as soon as it came up- So, why am I writing this 1 star review, bc I could not give a zero star review- the 3 front people, bartenders were condescending arrogant a-holes- one was so downright mean bc I did not hear his question about my drink ( I have a hearing impairment) the other walked away when I said I think the food up on the shelf was mine so I would not have another drink - the lady walked away when I said I would not have another drink bc I was sure the food on the shelf was mine - I told her when I paid, I wanted $30 of my very substantial tip to go to the kitchen staff- she blew me off & said "we share with them" - I did not want my money going to the a-holes at the bar but my specific request was treated as "we bartenders decide where the money goes - not you - go away" - won't be going back bc of the people up front - so just try to get the kitchen staff the money I left for them bc...

Went with my dad and brother for dinner at 4:30. My dad ordered a premium pint during happy hour. When we asked our server what the discount was for the happy hour beer, she explained that it was 50 cents off. We were surprised because the special board they had said $4 premium pints during happy hour which is from 3-6. So we paid the bill and decided to play darts upstairs. We started to wonder why we were charged $5.50 for a beer when it clearly said $4 on the special board. I then went to a bartender and told her our situation, and asked about the price. She seemed thrown off by the question. She then told me the happy hour only applys in the bar area. So your telling me if my family and I sit in a booth we don’t get the same deals? I knew she was lying. I went outside and called the business and pretended to be a different customer and asked if the happy hour could be applied to guest in the dining area and the person who answered was also the lady I just spoke with. She told me the happy hour price could also be used if you say in the dining room. So earlier she lied straight to me face and on the phone she told the truth.
