We’ve been meaning to stop by and try this little restaurant but it’s always been busy. We decided to get there this time before the crowd hit and let me tell you it was a great decision.

A small bar/restaurant that’s tucked away that you almost drive by and miss it. Parking is a little tricky and there’re very few to be had, but trust me - it’s worth it.

Server was friendly, helpful & knowledgeable about food being offered.

Husband ordered the Soco BBQ Bleu’s Burger & Tater Tots. Absolutely delicious. Perfectly cooked, medium well burger with bbq sauce, bacon, cheddar cheese, blue cheese spread and bbq chips ($14).

I ordered the Cahaba Grilled Chicken Tacos (3) & Tater Tots. Chicken tenders tossed in a mild hot sauce with ranch slaw. I can highly recommend everything.

Food arrived hot & delicious.

Not the best. On the good side, the wait staff was friendly and atmosphere ok. First: I started with a very fresh salad that was tasty but as I turned over some lettuce, a good sized fly was sticking out of the dressing. I almost lost my appetite. We asked an available wait staff who just said "sorry" and took it away. He never did tell our waiter about it nor the manager. We ask for the manager right away and she was very apologetic, then found out she discounted our bill 25%. That was very nice. While waiting for the reciept for lunch, I had been looking at the deck. It was a very nice day out and more customers could be seated there if there weren't so many boxes stacked next to customers eating (bugs?) and there were at least 6 empty kegs blocking the other side of thr deck (flies?) There seemed to be plenty of room to have a shed in back to keep these items. There were also boxes being stored under peoples seats in the restaurant(roaches?). Not very pleasing to customers eyes for eating. The food was just ok. Our tilapia sandwich was so saturated with dressing you could not hold on to it....

The atmosphere is absolutely amazing! I'm sitting outside on the balcony, witches overlooking Cahaba Heights!

FYI the cahaba chicken sandwich is absolutely the best buffalo chicken sandwich I've ever had! Topped with Slaw!

By the way you can get that on tacos as well instead of the sandwich you can get this exact thing just with a taco shell instead!

The service was friendly I couldn't even make it in the door before somebody was asking me where I wanted to see what I wanted to drink, and the waitress couldn't be more kind! Super friendly! Super funny! Very personable! So, if you come to this place, first of all sit outside.. second, make sure that you get THE CAHABA CHICKEN SANDWICH (every time you say the word cahaba at this restaurant, it means Buffalo style)! Lastly, ASK FOR THIS WAITRESS BY NAME : Teresa S.

She was super kind, super friendly, super knowledgeable, and one of the best part of my day so far. A lot of fun here, I would definitely encourage everybody that hasn't been here, to please come. This place...
