Went by and they had just closed up. So call before you go.
After calming down and thinking about it I agree that was an overreaction / response. I have changed my "stars" to better reflect the "weight of the issue" Don't get me wrong I am still really mad. This is one of the things that really gets to me. I will probably not dine with you for a while. I do agree I did make it into a bigger error than it was. In the modern internet culture this is happening more and more. I am sure if we had been discussing this in-person it would have gone very differently. I could get feedback from you when I started my complaint and I would understand you are a restaurant of people not a faceless post on the internet. As I said I agree with you and apologize for my overreaction. I am glad that you called me out on it and I had a chance the change my rating. I am also glad that you have seen how important this issue is to at least customer. I am also a small business guy from a family of small business owners. Multiple businesses with different family members, not all in one business. On both sides and in many industries. It is hard without "corporate armor" of a large company. I should more...
Read moreI ordered my pizza over the phone. A BBQ pizza, when I get there my pizza is wrong. All the ingredients weren't included online and I didn't want them on my pizza so I waited another 15 minutes on a remake. The 2nd pizza was still wrong when I got it so i had to wait on a THIRD remake another 15 minutes. This time the pizza was right and they upgraded the size because of my wait. The worker up front apologized but I seen the manager several times and she was aware what was going on and never once tried to apologize or compensate me in any way. I honestly deserved a refund but I shouldn't have to be the "bad customer". I've worked in food service for 15 years and if that would have happened in my restaurant I would have made sure to make it right all the way around with my customer. I'm patient and understanding but right is right. Not to mention I spent my whole lunch break waiting on the right order and was late back to work from my lunch break. Pizza was good but don't know if I'll be back everyone's attitude was a little to...
Read moreEverything down to the condiments was amazing! Me and my spouse came for a late lunch and got the hummus trio, the chili, and a half margherita half old cahawba pizza. It was all so fresh! The pickled veggies on the hummus trio had that "made-in-house" taste with the amount of bread you really want with a hummus dip. The chili had such a great depth of flavor with big chunks of brisket that were super tender. And the pizza I would say is the best in town. Now this isn't your typical chewy crust, robust tomato sauce kind of pizzas. This is a refined, authentic kind of pizza with a wonderfully crispy crust and subtle yet full-bodied flavors. In my opinion, the way a pizza should be! And now it seems like I'm just making things up to brag about but I really appreciated their cuts on the pizza toppings. The pepperoni is the large, thinly sliced ones and the mushrooms chopped instead of sliced. Insignificant, perhaps. Or the details that set them apart. Either way, I hope Troup's is with us for a...
