McDonald's — Restaurant in Vicksburg

Tonight im giving McDonald’s in Vicksburg ms on frontage rd 5 stars. Why, mainly because of Angie! But because it’s the best service I’ve had there in a long time. I visit this location a lot. And when I say a lot, I mean like every other night. I work late a lot and it’s on my way home and easy for me to just grab something. And yes we eat out a lot. Usually I do not have good experiences with them because their attitudes are usually not very good. And im being nice to say the least. I’ve made complaint after complaint on the workers there. I’m sure Mr Larry the manager knows me by name 😂 but tonight, let me tell you. From the minute we pulled up to the speaker to the minute we got our food, makes me want to just give praise to the whole crew there tonight. Angie, my girl, the sweetest woman that’s been in employed there in a long time. Always so friendly and always has a smile on her face. She should be manager one day. Like seriously. She works the window, and I work in a restaurant and I know how hard dealing with customers can be. I’ve also worked in fast food, where the customers are extremely worse than in a fine dining restaurant of course. So for her to keep a smile, be so kind and polite, I just have to rave on her! Then after we paid mrs sweet Angie and pulled to the next window, for the first time in i cant tell you when, we were greeted with a smile, how are y’all tonight. Just the nicest. I asked the young lady, are you new, I’ve never seen you before in here, she informs yes she is new and I said honey please keep that smile and attitude it’s the prettiest. Youre so pretty when you smile. She was so sweet. I wish I would have caught her name as well. Then what I assume to be the manager came to the window and handed me my shake. Another smile, how are y’all. Never before have I been treated kind by every single worker I came in contact with in there. But tonight. They were on point. I just have to say thank you to the crew tonight. Thank you for making me want to come back. Keep it up. And to who ever put that crew together, good job. Did great. Now please keep them there...

We were traveling through and needed to use the restroom. The gas station down the street had a bathroom that was out of order, so the next place to stop was this McDonald's. We got there just before closing and we went in to use the restroom. My husband got out before me and the girl working drive thru (the one with long bright red braids) yelled at him and said "Lobby is closed!" My husband then said "No, it actually looks like it JUST closed" (because it was right at 11pm at that time). After I got done we left the restaurant and proceeded to the drive thru. We were met by that same girl. We explained that we wanted 2 #7s with no pickles, medium fries and large Hi-C orange for both of them. She only entered in one. We had to explain that we wanted 2 the exact same way. She finally got it. We get to the window and she hands us one drink and closed the window. My husband waved his hand and said "What about my other drink?" She said,"I gave it to you"...I showed her the one she just gave us and she turned to her right to see she had yet to hand us the other one. First off, we read the hours of operation, but we had been driving from Georgia and needed to use the restroom. We were going to go in and out, like we did. We're not ignorant nor illiterate. Second, when you hear someone say the want 2 of the same order that means exactly that...not sure if she's going through something or if maybe she needs some help, but luckily we don't live anywhere near here and we won't ever have to come back to this place. The new renovations inside make the atmosphere dark and unwelcoming. I waited a good 10 minutes before anyone came to the register to take my order. I was the only one in line at the time. Finally placed my order: small, hot mocha. Stepped 2 steps to the left to the mini pickup counter. There were 5 workers behind the counter. The cooks were busy cooking because the steam was billowing so thick it was....not an attractive site. They were so close and congested at their workstation it was nothing i want to see even at a fast food chain. Finally after another 10 minutes someons shouted COULD SOMEONE MAKE THAT MOCHA. Soon i could see my finished mocha...sitting on a workstation just out of my reach. Eventually after waiting on 3 customers the cashier reached over, picked up the cup, gave it to me and said "here".
