I was extremely dissatisfied with the service I received. My family and I watched as people around us who entered the restaurant after us and were served their food. One of the patrons even stopped by the table and asked if we were ever going to be served. I'm pretty patient and understanding. The young lady couldn't get it together and possibly needed a little more training. She was not knowledgeable about the options available. I won't be returning. My appetite was ruined.

I wasn't sure if the brown guacamole was safe to eat. I probably should have known to check the order for the missing Tortillas when they told me they didn't have any utensils or silverware in the restaurant - that's my fault. However, it is El Ranchero's fault why their fajitas are made with more salt than meat. If you have to eat here, order the refried beans, which I'm fairly certain are the canned beans from Walmart, so they should be safe to eat. The chips were good.

Awesome food, huge portions and reasonable prices. Staff was really friendly and attentive too. Not sure why they had a service charge on top of taxes and still require tips but we still left one. They also have a kitten (named Cally/Kelly I think) that roams around their restaurant area(outside), look out for that lil sweet thing while you are there~~

This is definitely not the greatest Mexican restaurant.. The chips are stale tasting. We got tiny Styrofoam cups to put salsa in (also not the best) I’ve eaten many Happy Plates and never seen one with corn & peas in the rice - & usually it’s covered in Queso but this was red colored.. Fajita Nachos aren’t great b/c again the chips taste stale. The beans were good tho. Service was awful! Had to get our own high chair b/c our waiter acted as if we didn’t even ask her for one.. Our waiter couldn’t remember to bring us anything we asked for so we had to ask Multiple times for stuff. At one point I had to go to the kitchen area to ask for something myself.. Had to get my own to-go plate.. And a large queso (which isn't That large..) was 10.99! My meal just for One person (fajita nachos, sweet tea, & large queso) was $38.95 😳. Will Not be...

Brought a charter bus load of high school students here on very short (5 minutes) notice about 7:00 p.m. on a TU night. The staff scrambled to arrange a seating area for us and get our drink orders. They only had two people on wait staff that evening, but they worked hard and did a good job. We had a moderate wait for our food, but that was expected because of the size of our group (41 people). The food was hot, appeared to be fresh, and tasted good; I did not hear any complaints from the students. There were a couple of mix-ups on who got what dish, but it all got sorted out okay. We enjoyed the food, the music and the atmosphere, and the staff was friendly. The dining area and restrooms were clean. I really appreciate this place for accommodating us on such short notice and for making our dining experience...

Service was about the worst I have ever seen. Only food I can comment on is the queso which was served ice cold and watery. We never received our meal and eventually gave up and left. Of course we paid full price for the few drinks and queso we received. Only interaction we had with our waitress was when we walked around to find her. At no point during the 1.5 hours we were in the restaurant were more than half the tables occupied. We paid the bill at the hostess stand, and couldn’t find an adult employee to talk to. While paying our bill the 2 employees excused themselves to go visit with friends in the parking lot. Do not recommend. Will...
