The Black Horse Tavern — Restaurant in Vienna Charter Township

It's been a long time since we've walked into a bar and felt welcomed like any regular. Greeted immediately after walking through the door. Both times we visited the waitress came over right away with menus and asked if we wanted anything to drink.

Our first time in we only ordered drinks. We each had a specialty drink and a few basics. They were served quickly and tasted good.

We enjoyed ourselves enough that we came back the next week for dinner and a couple of drinks. We each got the fish dinner which came with 3 pieces of fish, fries, and cottage cheese or coleslaw. You have the option of wet or dry batter on the fish. We both chose the wet batter. It was good. The pieces were a little smaller than I expected but they tasted fresh. The fries were crispy even though I forgot to ask for them well done.

The waitress was super attentive appearing at the table as soon as one of our drinks was empty. She checked on us several times and offered us boxes when she saw we were just picking at our food.

The wife and I come here for dinner and seen this place wasn't very busy on a Friday our server was jaylynn we sat and she got our drinks we both ordered patty melts we got them she forgot our sides never ended up getting them and them patty melts are absolutely discussing they put some kind of sauce on them that totally wrecked them the wife and I only took 1 bite of each and we said something to the waitress about it but she totally ignored us I mean completely ignored us then another server come a bigger girl and asked if we wanted boxes for them and we told her no we didn't want them we didn't like them asked if they can just take them back and get something else or something we got completely ignored again and still got charged for them so I probably wont come back here again need better wait staff and better descriptions on there menus I know now why this place...

I came into this bar with some buddies I was in this town doing some work with for my business. The bartender was rude (I think her name was brittany or brandy) and one of the servers (black hair) was all over mid 20 aged men that were in the bar instead of tending to the customers. The food was decent but my service was horrible, I just wanted a cold drink and a burger with some buddies. I didn’t need attitudes and a gossip section with the female workers. I’m distraught by all the extra stuff going on at this bar. Too many young kids working here, not enough focus or respect on the customers. I wouldn’t recommend this bar. I’ll keep going to Mug Shotz when my business has jobs...
