Horseradish Kitchen + Market — Restaurant in Village of Princeton

Stopped in on a nice sunny Thursday at open. Super friendly staff helped us with orders and we sat out on the back patio by the river. This place has very nice atmosphere and a mix of music. You could stick this restaurant in any city, Chicago, NY, etc…and it would fit right in and it would be successful, except it’s in Princeton, WI so let’s enjoy.

While the menu is not huge, if I can find something to eat, I’m sure most others can as well. I ordered the H-Rad Beef sandwich and my wife had the grilled cheese w/bacon. Both came with a slice of watermelon, some chips and a pickle. We had one of the craft root beers and a lemonade that were in bottles. We finished lunch off with two huge cookies for a treat.

It wasn’t too busy this early on a Thursday, so we chatted with one of the staff who recommended their Sunday night live music which sounded fun.

UPDATE It's been three years since my first review and it's still an amazing place. I have ventured out of my norm of the blt or caprese and now love the beet or cuban but always get the greens!! Its a no brainer. Wish we had this in Boston, the things they could do with the lobster roll would be amazing!

Loved watching Matt transition from a school bus to such a posh space. The food is always great, the decor is so cool and you are always feel like family when coming in. I was with a large group celebrating a friend’s 50th, and this place didn’t disappoint!! The owners and staff worked with my friend to create an incredible dinner with the venue close to the public. The food was so good that we also ate there several other times during our stay in Princeton. Delicious food & drinks, incredible ambiance, and wonderful customer service. I’d also highly recommend a stay in the Parlor Hotel, which is owned by the same people. Incredibly cute, boutique hotel, with a high end feel.
