Dot's — Restaurant in Vincennes

Found this place on Google Maps and seen they had a pork tenderloin. Music to my ears! I judge places that have pork tenderloin against places I've been prior. This place did not disappoint ar all! This was supposed to be a sandwich! Idk what size of bread there is for this thing! It was the size of the plate, and the bun definitely was not. The tenderloin was crunchy on the outside and juicy on the middle. Had good flavor, and i couldn't eat all of it. Oh, and the onion straws were extremely good as well. This was a half order of the onion straws, and it was a mounded plate full. People were really friendly and the place was packed! The waitress i had was really nice and friendly, and all i had seen her do was zoom all over the place. She was hustling, and I never had an issue getting a refill. Great place to eat if you want that old school food...

I was there with my 3 best friends for lunch. They all had the lunch special - chicken and noodles, mashed potatoes, grean beans and bread - while I had the grilled tenderloin sandwich which was served with choice of French Fries or chips. I've eaten at Dot's several times through the years and the food has always been spot-on. They recently renovated their entire kitchen so everything is fresh and new. Great breakfast menu, great lunch menu. They also have plate lunch specials on Monday (Beef Manhattan + Side Salad),Tuesday (Chicken n' Noodles + Green Beans), Wednesday (Meatloaf + Buttered Corn).
