My followers told me to try the tenderloin at Glenno's Corner Cafe. This is what I thought of it. #fyp #Foryoupage #tenderloins #foodreview #restaurantreview

I ordered a 1/2 order of the German biscuit and my friend ordered a western omelette. Somehow the bill was $29 freaking dollars!!! How the heck?! I knew the moment we sat down I should have walked out. The vegetables weren’t even cooked/sautéed in our meals, a slice of America cheese was thrown on top of the omelette…. The bathroom set up was nasty. The table we sat in was slanted because the floor isn’t even. All around awful experience. We were going to let everything go and just leave but we saw the bill was $29!!!! There were two dirty crockpots up front just sitting on a bar stool… Update: In the picture below the owner felt necessary to mark out the $29 charge and rewrite $20 on top, but never refunded us for the overcharge. You can literally see the red pen that was used underneath. Obviously their customer service is not the best when he himself realized a mistake was made yet nothing was offered to compensate for it. Also as evident from the responses he has given below to bad reviews, as he portrays that nothing is wrong with him or his business but the customer is at fault. They obviously needed money more than us to have initially wrote down $29 realize a mistake was made & fail to even offer our money back. I remember this as we left $30 and just walked out in disbelief of our awful experience. I have worked in customer service, specifically in restaurants, for the past 10 years and have never encountered an owner/manager with such awful customer service especially to those who have received awful awful in house.

Visiting those small Mom and Pop shops again led me to breakfast at GlennO's Corner Cafe this morning. Parking was adequate for the size of the establishment, which fills up quick! We arrived and were told we could sit anywhere. We chose a booth in the corner. Had our utensils and menus dropped off and drink orders taken. Drinks came in 1 to 2 minutes. Placed our order. Menu is simple with enough options to satisfy almost anyone. Our food order was out in around 10 minutes. I was offered my coffee freshened up multiple times. Food was good. The pancakes are really good. Biscuits and gravy were also good. Eggs (medium) were cooked properly, there was a piece of egg shell in mine, but who hasn't done that themselves? Waitstaff was friendly. All in all this was a pleasant experience and I enjoyed visiting a new local eatery. I say this is worth your time to give it a try. For some reason I cannot reply to the comment by GlennO's. So I will edit this review and explain the 4 star rating. I rated 4 stars because the Hashbrown patty my daughter got was very greasy or "wet" and cool inside. I didn't leave that in the first review because I don't feel that would be a common problem. Therefore I omitted that from the first review. Also..5 stars from me means something was fantastic, to me. Which is subjective. So 4 stars is a really good rating.

Stopped in for Sunday breakfast. They were very busy the whole time we were there. We lucked out and got parking right at the entrance door thanks to someone leaving just as we arrived. We had to wait for the open table to be cleaned so we could be seated. So you'd think that being that busy on a Sunday morning during church hours would be a good sign. Well, turns out that maybe being that busy isn't a good thing.

The waitress took our order and brought our drinks. Then it was a long wait. There's only maybe 10 tables/booths inside and it was just us and another booth that didn't have food yet. They did have a couple pick-up orders to manage as well. The kitchen area must be pretty small because it seems they can only take care of one order at a time.

When our order finally did arrive it wasn't complete. We had to remind the waitress of the missing items from our order. I got the German breakfast with half order of biscuits and gravy and my wife got the #2 breakfast meal with pancakes. It was a lot of food for the price. I don't know what's "German" about the German breakfast. It's nothing like what I had in 2.5 years of living in Germany. The veggies in the dish are obviously canned because they had that nasty tin after taste to them. The meat was either overly salted or not at all. The biscuits was actually just one undercooked biscuit (not homemade) split in twain and covered in sausage gravy. Honestly, none of it tasted good and the canned veg left a nasty after taste that also upset my stomach somewhat.

My wife's meal was mediocre at best. The scrambled eggs weren't fluffy. The German potatoes were undercooked and not seasoned. The pancakes, though nice and thick, were also undercooked in the middle.

I'm hoping that this lack of quality is due to them being busy, but not using fresh vegetables prepared for service can't be excused when they obviously came from a can. So, if you're looking for a lot of food for relatively cheap prices then this might be your place. However, beware that this condition might also come with lower quality...
