Bob's Restaurant — Restaurant in Vinton

Food was profoundly ho-hum. Service was less. Restaurant was dark enough that it was hard to see the filth on every surface. People rave about their burgers, but those people have apparently never eaten a good burger. Patties are frozen, barely seasoned, and unimaginatively slapped on blah bread without any effort to make them stand out.

Should you decide to go anyway, you'll have to park SOMEWHERE (parking lot is hidden) and wait for a regular customer to show up, and follow him to the door. No entrance is marked, and there are no windows to peep through to see if you're even in the right...

Went in for lunch the other day. Hit up the queen machines to pass the time. Grabbed the daily special. Salisbury steak and gravy and mashed potatoes. Steak and gravy was good. Mashed potatoes I mistook for sour cream and chive potatoes like a specialty or something. Infact they were just sour. Rest of that day and into the next I was so sick it was ridiculous. It was great until that but I cant give a good recommendation based on my first time eating there. I'll try again soon...whenever my stomach...

Bob's Restaurant is a little out of the way on this side of the tracks, down by the creek for real place that is kinda low key outta the way place to be. It's a cool place to unwind and just be yourself. The food here is hard to match anywhere and the people and staff plus the owner is like family from your first visit and everytime you come. Go give em a sniff and tell uncle Stashe McCauley...
