Golden China Restaurant — Restaurant in Virginia Beach

Golden China food is good but their customer service (at least on the phone) is horrible! I placed a large order over the phone and wanted to make sure that my order was correct and the man sucked his teeth and hung up on me. This is not the first time that he has done this and I'm sure it may not be the last time that he does it to someone. I am now on my way to handle the situation and cancel my order if it is not dealt with. I refuse to give my money to idiots that don't know how to deal with customers, especially ones that patronize them on a regular. "You're not the only restaurant sir!" Suggestion: If you practice speaking English a little better, than maybe you don't have to repeat yourself so much or better yet let someone nicer answer the phone. RUDENESS to ME...not tolerated. I will travel the distant for great customer service along...

Horrible service! We pre ordered on the phone for lunch and the man on the phone was rude (partly because his English was so unitelligible). Well, of course we had keep asking him, what his question was lol, but apparently that made him so mad that he started yelling (barking) at us. Eventually, the phone was passed to a lady who had fair English and was polite. We ordered, confirmed and when we went to pick it up, the guy who had picked up the phone earlier, asked us AGAIN for the 18th time, WHAT DID YOU ORDER? Apparently, after spending about 10 minutes ordering and confirming - they did not even bother making our order!!!! Why have a restaurant when you cannot even talk nicely to the customer or bother to make the order??? Never going back there, disgusting service, especially appalling worker! If there was an option for -1 stars, I would gladly...

The rudest Chinese food service I’ve ever seen; they need a crash course on protocol and service etiquette. The food is tasty but robbed by their service. If you’ve ever ordered from there, get familiar to “that’s it”... it seems to be the only English they know. After writing my reviews, I had to add some more comments agreeing with some other reviews as to how rude and rushed they seem to be. Not only did he not ever answered any of my questions with other than “that’s it”, but he hung up before I ordered other items I wanted. During my first and only visit, I placed a specific ordered and he rang me up for the larger and much more expensive option.
