Las Palmas Shore Drive — Restaurant in Virginia Beach

Thank you Las Palmas for taking over this location...what an improvement from a 1 to a 10! Service is impeccable and Miguel explained all the new dishes to us in great detail. The margaritas where made with fresh ingredients as well as the food. I had the pork carnitas. They were tender and succulent and richly seasoned. My companion had the Enchiladas De La Rancheros which he described as a "fiesta of flavors". Thank the heavens above Las Palmas took over the shuttered Ole site and turned it into a wonderful destination for south of the border flavors. This was our second trip however we will return to work our way...

Went to Las Palmas for the first time last night. I was expecting just another Mexican restaurant. I ordered the "steak Las Palmas"....a T-Bone with shrimp, cauliflower and Broccoli in a light but flavorful sauce. I have to say, the best restaurant meal I've had in many months. Shrimp were cooked perfectly. Steak was tender, but a little thin cut. Overall a great tasting meal. I would order it again and again. My wife's meal was equally good. Service was fantastic. Average price. Nice atmosphere. I've driven past this restaurant many, many times and never before...

Went to Las Palmas Shore Drive with hubby for a date night. We love this place. The food was hot and flavorful. It doesn't disappoint. We always go back to try new and different things from them. The atmosphere is wonderful and food is out to you before you know it. The manager is great. He always walks by to check on customers. The staff is great too always checking to make sure your happy and if you need anything. We always spread the word about this establishment and will always return. Cinco de mayo is always a fun day here....
