This relatively new Lendy's location is where the lesser Anchor Ally's used to be. (They were too busy to seat people half the time but somehow still went out of business.) Decor is as sterile as ever, and service was hit or miss. (The ladies on staff were very pleasant; the lone dude most certainly was not.)
Got takeout early on a Saturday evening but it seemed like the fryer oil hadn't been changed in several days. So the fried fish was cooked nicely but was also almost jet black. Fries were beyond disgusting. My child got a weird little panini advertised as grilled cheese and liked it a lot. (He liked the gross and soggy fries too, so maybe don't trust him.) Jalapeño poppers in "suicide sauce" were not very hot at all. They were also soggy, but that's my bad for getting them to go.
For all that, it seems like a decent place to watch the game or whatever if you live nearby, and Lendy's has been around long enough to deserve support even if the product...
Read moreI was really excited when I saw this new location since I always loved Lendys wings but this was one of the worst meals I've ever attempted to eat. I decided to switch it up and get something different and it was honestly not even edible. They are using old oil for frying, you could smell it while eating the chicken sandwich and you could also tell by color of the fries that were also ice cold. My order was for carryout and clearly they just made right away and let it sit out.The chicken had all these weird hard pieces and was luke warm at best! One star for the good ranch other than that disgusting cold food! Wouldn't recommend this NEW location to anyone which is a shame because being a new location you think they want to do their best to make some good fresh hot food but that isn't the case- YUCK! Save your money and go somewhere else if you want a...
Read moreWhere do I start? Ordered a dozen wings on the phone. I get in to pick it up and they only prepared the order for a 1/2 a dozen. Mildly annoying but I get it, mistakes happen. So, I waited for them to correct it….for 30 minutes. You would think they would offer a drink while I waited, or a discount for the inconvenience or even a simple apology. Nope. Just had me sitting there waiting for 30 minutes for their mistake.
Got home and the wings were mid, at best. Oh, wait, maybe this had to do with the fact that instead of cooking a fresh batch of a dozen, like any decent establishment would do to correct a mistake, they had me keep the old 1/2 dozen and just added a new 1/2 dozen. So while my new food was being prepared, the old food got cold.
I can spend my money elsewhere where I know it will be appreciated and let others...
