Cassie was our server and She did a great job considering. She was sweet and had a wonderful personality. It was our first time here after a friend's recommendation. There was four of us and we all ordered a little something different to try. We all agreed that the crab balls were straight up fire! Hand breaded and fried perfectly. The crab ratio to seasoned bread filler was perfect, they were so good the cook should be proud of that grab ball. The Chicken nachos... fantastic! The shredded chicken was well seasoned and juicy. Chips itself were fried in house and fresh, perfect ratio to a clean and put together nacho plate....The fried green tomatoes? Don't even. They are a slap in the face to real fried green tomatoes. Cheap processed batter and mushy frozen green tomatoes. Garbage. Just take the whole option off the menu bad. You could tell it was brought in frozen food. Not the cooks fault.

The crowd towards the end got really young and played horrible music on the jukebox which ran our party outside to finish our evening with friends on the patio. My partner was disappointed that a bottle option for Michelob Ultra wasn't available. He's not a can at all person so that limited his consumption of beers to only that one.

The outside patio is nice and well laid out. Our drink's were made with great attention to detail, perfect pour to soda ratio and the bartender seemed nice and checked on us a couple of times on top of Cassie trying to stay on top of a busy Sunday Funday crowd.

If they got Mic Ultra in a bottle this would definitely make our regular stops on the weekends of...

When deciding where to go for lunch, my wife suggested someplace we hadn't been to. Since I've heard good things about the Pungo Sports Bar and Grill, I suggested we go there. Now, it's a little bit of a drive from our home in Kempsville, but it is well worth it. Since they were touted as having outstanding cheeseburgers, we both chose those. We were very glad we did. My cheeseburger was, without question, the best I have ever had. It may sound odd, but I didn't need ketchup whatsoever. We also had scrumptious crab balls for an appetizer. They were delicious but I couldn't shake the image of eunuch crabs. Pungo Sports Bar and Grill also presents an outstanding atmosphere and is a place I wouldn't hesitate to go back to again. Finally, our servers, Jessica and Amanda, were very attentive and friendly. Jessica, especially, made it feel as if we were eating at home. Like I said, I plan on returning. Went here for the first time tonight. First, the live entertainment was great! Now on to the reason for the one star review. We arrived at 8:15 PM and sat on the outside deck. Around 8:45 I decided to go to the inside bar to get a menu and a drink since the waitress who as tending to the outside deck came by several times and never acknowledged we were there nor asked us if we'd like anything. I thought us looking at a menu would show the waitress we would like drinks and food. Unfortunately I was incorrect. At 9:00 I went inside to the bar to order food and the bartender told me their kitchen was closed. Kind of interesting since their live entertainment was sent to perform until 11:30.
