Subway — Restaurant in Virginia Beach

Hands down the best subway sandwich and experience we’ve ever had! We went into this our normal subway which has been remodeled but we’ve been there since then. The look is very nice and clean but that isn’t what compelled me to make a review. Normally we order honey oat but they only had one left so we picked Italian as a substitute for one of the sandwiches. After scooping two scoops of tuna the sandwich artisan asked if I wanted to switch bread and explained that the bread seemed stale so I went with wheat. Every ingredient I added looked and was super fresh. The tuna was nice and moist as well. Our sandwiches were simply delicious to the point that my mouth is still watering after finishing it. Maybe the staff added to the flavor fullness of our meals but in any case we will be returning. We appreciate the care in treating us like valued customers when so many places where you can get a quick meal do not. Thanks again and we will absolutely be continuing to dine at this location! The SO and I ordered food from here the other night, overall it wasn't a bad experience. My issue was the ingredients that this store was out of: they had no steak (which my partner wanted on his sub), and were out of one of their varieties of chicken. I think it is imperative to have all items fully re-stocked in a timely manner (even in the evening), it really makes the store seem as if it is lacking when they don't have all the necessary items in stock. The ladies working that night were nice though. Our subs were tasty. Good chip selection and different flavors of cookies to choose from. My boyfriend and I always eat at this subway but tonight was different. Ofcourse the food is always good but the employees Morgan and Ashley were TERRIBLE. While we were checking out morgan knocked a clearly dirty bucket into the spinach, looked at me and proceeded to pick it up without disgarding the now tainted spinach in the trash. That was only the first offense. While we were eating ashley had a headphone hanging out of her uniform. we both watched in disgust as her headphone, which clearly goes into a waxy ear, dip in and out of a customers sub. Before leaving i asked ashley for their names considering neither were wearing name tags, after I promptly warned her how gross and unsanitary everything they were doing is. I will not return. This...
