Let me start out with this bistro is absolutely amazing and adorable. The owners are awesome and super friendly. As I walked in the scent of cooking food made my mouth water, and not just because I missed breakfast. Everything looked so good I wanted to try the whole menu, sadly my wallet vetoed that idea. I did however get some extra goodies to try and my sister who came with me tried opposite items. The ham croqueta spelling that all wrong was delightful. The flavor was perfect and the texture was soft in the center and crunchy on the outside as it should be. I also got the ham and cheese empanada and the flavor made me fall in love. It is rich, delightfully savory, and creamy. I absolutely adore it for my pastry I got the guava flavor and it was definitely the perfect ending to a delightful meal. I loved the crunchy topping with the perfectly mixed guava filling. I did get a concha and a loaf of Cuban bread to have later on in the day. All in all an absolutely delightful trip to a hidden gem that I will most definitely be...
Read moreWow! Co-workers had found this place. Said it's the best Cuban sandwich in the area. Well, I didn't know if I ever had a good Cuban before. It's a husband wife operation from what I can see. Several regulars and others waiting on their orders. I ordered an El Cubano. Took a while but you can watch this guy working his tail off making everything. When I got my sandwich it about burned my hand it was so fresh off the grill still toasty warm when I got to work and ate it. Having nothing to really compare this to it will absolutely be the standard by which I gauge any Cuban sandwich from here on. It was awesome! And for most average folks I can't imagine finishing one in a meal. Just as good reheated later! A definite place to check out! Looks like lots of desserts and other items that I am excited to try some time in the future. I can't imagine anything bad from here. Prices on par with other sandwiches at other shops and a real authentic feel to how...
Read moreMy husband & I love this little hidden gem. LISTEN the food is absolutely authentic and delicious, the proportions are extremely generous, and the service is always friendly. You absolutely get your money’s worth from this place as they don’t hold back in portion size & quality of food. It’s so nice to be able to have some authentic Latino food and also to be able to support such a wonderful small business. We are still in the very delicious process of sampling all of the food on their menu- so far everything we have tried has been outstanding! Absolutely recommend this spot!! Also, we hope that you never move from your current spot off of Horse Pasture rd. because it just so happens to be right next to our own shop, which makes lunch time extremely...
