After reading some of the reviews, I felt obligated to also write one.
This place is awesome. The staff has been very nice, and the system they use to purchase singles is different but interesting. Recently me and friends played here for the first time. During our match, one of the staff dropped off a pack of cards at our table and said "Winner get the pack, good luck" and walks away. This immediately shows me they care about the people who come and want them to return. If this is how I am treated by just staying a while and playing cards, then I will return!
Pros: -Big open space -Nice tables/Comfy chairs -Very affordable product compared to others in area -Very clean and upbeat (The music is a nice touch!)
Subjective Cons: -I would love if pricy singles were on display and easier to find, rather than be only on the Kiosk. -More available sealed MTG product (we love the sealed boosters/collectors!) -A stock of what sealed product is available on the online store/website. This way I would know what is there before coming to buy.
Overall, this store is great and cozy. I am certain things have improved over the year and I am looking forward to...
Read moreI used to really enjoy this store and they have some great employees and a local scene, but I will no longer be giving them my business for the following reasons: They are extremely cliquey and show favoritism to a handful of customers. They only sell a handful of boxes and other product to their locals, while selling most of their inventory online at higher prices. They frequently change their prizing without telling players or customers. I played for four hours in a tournament with 5 rounds, and was told at the end that since we did not meet the cap of 32 players the prizing would be split in half. They already charged $30 for a $13 starter deck, so the change in prizing was ridiculous. They routinely do not pass out winner packs or even give out participation packs or items to...
Read moreGenerally Unfreindly Staff felt uncomfortable, The Guy Medina acted like he thought I was stupid for asking why they didnt post an event schedule anywhere, bad online communication I messaged them about selling them singles and never got a response, only supports obscure games like DBZ, Digimon, OnePiece, Battle Spirits Saga Nothing Mainstream like MTG, Pokemon, or Yugioh. Seems obsessed with their gimmicky Booster Bux Packs, could be a cool concept but seems like a shady way to avoid proper prize support. Store is Clean but feels Empty and Lifeless with barren white walls can see breaker boxes on walls etc. Location seemed really good but with so much competition in the area I dont see how they can afford the rent for very long with such a...
