This is a clubhouse restaurant at a golf course. While I do write reviews as a hobby, I don't just hand out 5 star reviews without any thought. I also don't have any affiliation with VB National golf course or The Pig Shop Bar & Grill. Now, I always try to manage my expectations when eating anywhere and my decision to eat at a golf course was no different. We were at VB National for a round of golf, we were hungry, and our tee time wasn't for another 45 minutes. So, it was an easy decision to slide over and grab a quick bite. I won't speak for anyone else in my party, but I think they would agree with me when I say that I was pleasantly surprised!
The menu for The Pig Shop Bar & Grill was way more than I expected. The options were great no matter if you wanted a meal or just a snack. I actually had a hard time deciding what to get because they had a lot of good sounding offerings. The Bar Tender/Server was friendly and had a great attitude. She took excellent care of our table..No, we hadn't been drinking. Lol! We decided to get some lumpia as an appetizer and I got a grilled chicken club and fries for my main meal. The ingredients seemed fresh and it was all well prepared. The other meals looked equally excellent! I'll be going back the next time I play.
