We’ve ordered pizza take out 3 times now. The bad: lacking traditional pizza topping combinations. They aren’t bad necessarily. Scan Fireworks pizza menu and you are left trying to pick one from all the good options. Scan the BRX Oven menu and it doesn’t leave you with the same impression. Of course palettes vary and you can always build your own poor value. Approaching $20 for a personal pizza leaves you feeling guilty of takeout, especially when feeding a family. The pricing is probably set envisioning a restaurant experience but even then, it’s going to be a staggering bill. It’s not as if they load up the pizza with toppings, either; they tend to be on the more sparse side. The good: the pizza (and dough) is very good to excellent, somewhere in between. the staff are always extremely courteous (noticeably so) and the owner is often there saying hello in person. The question is, will this continue after the post-opening period. For now, it helps justify the higher pricing.
Annoyingly, a menu wasn’t available anywhere except in store until someone posted a photo, though it’s tough to read.
3 stars for an underwhelming pizza menu and the difficulty of making it any kind of regular go-to place...
Read moreThis is our favorite place to get pizza. By the taste of it, you can tell that the pizza here is made fresh, from scratch and with quality ingredients.
I am very particular with the food that I eat, I almost never eat out because I prefer really clean ingredients in my food. But this place, I can tell that their food is very high quality and it tastes so good. From the cheese, crust and toppings, it is the best! Oh and I love that they have vegetarian pizza options, that is mainly what we get.
We also tried their gelato and it did not disappoint. So when we have days when we don’t cook and we need something quick, easy, and good food, we always get takeout pizza from BRX oven. I have yet to try some other things in the menu but nevertheless I would say that it is the best pizza...
Read moreOne of the guys that worked here came out and was extremely rude to me because I accidentally took the wrong pizzas when I was picking up my carry out order (which were the same pizzas I had ordered so there was understandable confusion). Asked me very rudely if I had paid for the pizzas and demanded I “GIVE [HIM] THE PIZZAS” then grabbed them out of my hands, assuming I had stolen them or something?? Also, this employee was not wearing a mask. Once he realized that I had indeed paid for pizzas at their establishment and was not just some rogue pizza bandit, he didn’t even apologize for his rudeness. All for a chorizo pizza that was literally just an expensive version of a pepperoni pizza. Maybe this guy takes his job so seriously because the pizza is so...
