I've been going to this spot for years and have always been satisfied. They are always quick, food is always good, and the price is very fair. I have tried every Chinese take out spot in Williamsburg and this one is the best in both price and quality. I usually get the lunch specials as they are a great deal. For 7$ and some change you get an entree with a side of white or fried rice, and an eggrool or two crab Rangoons. Other places will charge 9-10$ for a similar lunch special. The quality of China woks food is superior to other take out places. The side of fried rice has bits of pork, onion, and scallions, and has actually been fried. As we know many places just have that yellowish brown rice with nothing in it and doesn't appear or taste like it was fried. I usually get the lo mein and general tsos lunch special. The lo mein is some of the best in Williamsburg second to actual sit in restaurants. Many of the negative reviews of China wok are about customer service which yes the lady can be rude but I mean you just order your food and pay idk why anyone is getting upset. 10/10...
Read moreI only live about 5 or 6 minutes away and for some unknown reason I didn’t start going there until a couple months ago. My Bad but I can not say enough good things about their food and the two very nice women are very nice, polite and always smiling. What’s my point here? Tonight I had teriyaki chicken on a stick and I have to say as many times and other places it was absolutely the best I’ve ever had. The chicken was very moist perfectly cooked and the flavor was phenomenal. If you think its just chicken on it on a stick which it is but you should try it there I’ve also had a couple of other things including Happy Family which was excellent. I’m not going anywhere else for Chinese food and...
Read moreThis review isn't about the food, it's about the frustrating service. I was charged for an order that supposedly never went through because of a credit card machine issue. I immediately called the store, and they told me the transaction hadn't gone through on their end. A week later, the pending charge became permanent. When I called to get the large fried rice and spring roll I paid for, $14.10 order the owner argued with me and wanted me to pay again and wait for a reimbursement while she called the bank tomorrow. I expressed I have a charge on my bank statement and can show show the proof and how all I wanted was the order I never received...
