Chop House Asian Eat — Restaurant in Virginia

Ordered food. Delivery was fast that's why I gave 2 stars instead of one. Food was Overcooked & Smelled Burnt, tasted like it had been cooked in dish water. So I called to complain & ask them to take it off my order. The Lady was Rude, Loud, & hangup the phone when I asked to speak too Owner. So I called back & Asked Her if I Need to take the food back to The China Star restaurant? She proceeded to be Loud & Rude & at one point threatened me saying I need to be Careful & I replied No Ma'am You need to be careful cause it's not good for business acting in such a way. Then she said she would make new order & i said no way if the first order was horrible i definitely dont want a 2nd. Then she said Fine I give you free & your money back. I asked if I could bring the food back & she said No! & Hung up again. SHE NEVER CREDITED MY MONEY BACK TO MY CARD! I've been ordering food from that place for Years spent Thousands over the years making big orders. Now the Quality & Customer service is trash. Except for the Delivery Guys they are still very pleasant. How ever if I do not receive a refund I will file a complaint to the BBB. As well as never order from there again & make sure everyone i know doesn't do bisness with ChinaStar anymore also. I don't appreciate bisnesses doing people like this nor will I tolerate it! If the Owner sees this & cares even a little bit about his Customers, Please...

How? How?? How was the egg drop soup spicy? Never have I ever had spicy egg drop soup! My husband is sick and thought it would be a nice surprise, he can not eat anything spicy. 😏 I LOVE love LOVE spicy food and it was too spicy for me. The rice in my shrimp fried rice and crab stick combination, was hard as if they rushed to cook it and it had all of 4 shrimp in the fried rice.

Called and the lady was so RUDE, her words exactly "you must added something for it to be spicy" Instead of just apologizing, but from all of the 1* and 2* reviews on here mostly of her being so rude. An apology would be out of the question. Let alone I didn't get to mention anything else, she was so loud and argumentative. I just said never again and hung up.

So very Unbelievable. Too many Chinese food places around to worry myself, but reviews are what people look at, I know I will start looking at reviews more often.

Ummm? Why? Why would I add OR What would I add to make egg drop soup spicy for a sick person? 🤔 Especially since that sick person is my husband who doesn't like and can't eat spicy things! No problem ... my $50.+ can be spent somewhere else...

I will never go to this restaurant again! Today was the last straw for me! What I ordered was not what I received! When I got home and noticed that my order was incorrect and overcharged I called. When I called the lady that works the front was talking over me and not listening. I remained calm to get to an understanding. Once driving all the way back and discussing the billing and order the lady at the front was very confrontational, rude, and so mean. I remained calm until she pulled her mask down to yell at me. The man from the back stepped in to de-escalate and she was still talking over him and being mean. This was not the first time she has been rude or mean, but I always let it go. There have been at least three other incidents. In fact she is why I had not been ordering from here like I use to! Today was it for me though! I deserve to be respected! Especially when I am spending my money & referring others! Never, ever, again!! This lady needs anger management & prayer!She does not need to be the one greeting customers! Her customer service & people skills S-U-C-K! …so I still didn’t get to eat! What a...
