Chopsticks Express — Restaurant in Virginia

Been going here for 20 years. I previously had left a 5 star review. However they are under new management and these people have lots of tricks to cheat you out of money, time and cause a lot of aggravation with their new policies and portions. When they tell you that you're getting a free entrée then be warned it is not a normal dinner sized entrée. It's an appetizer sized portion. Also their egg rolls now come 1 per order. They also cheat you out of the rice that should come with the entrée. When I called, the woman refused to correct the mistakes. They aren't warning their customers of the changes, and consequently you will have lots of surprises when you get home unless you check absolutely everything before leaving the store. They are not honorable in their business dealings and my family will be going to Hunan West off Burke Lake Rd and Rolling. Those are the original owners of Chopsticks and they go above and beyond for their customers. No tricks. No scams. No small portions. The employees at Hunan West are always kind and welcoming and usually throw in extras. I've never had a bad experience with them. Chopsticks is not the same...

Don’t go anywhere else! This is the best Chinese in this area! They only took over the restaurant a little while ago. And on top of all the choices, they make their own Peking duck, home made! Just call ahead of time because they only offer it once in a while of course since they make it from scratch. The service is top notch, the owner Ms Dan has the most wonderful smile and makes you feel so welcome. Good customer service is so rare nowadays! It is a family business I found out, Ms Dan runs the front and her husband the kitchen. That’s why I trust the food and wish them all the success they deserve. All I will say is when you order look for the prices on the menu and calculate it with a calculator because they charge a few bucks here and there and I’m not one to pick Through a bill but when you only order one meal that’s on their website for 8.95 and the bill comes out to 17.95 it makes you look. The food is great. No doubt. However I don’t like people taking advantage of people. Maybe it just happened to me once and I’m hoping that because I will order from here again hoping it was just a mistake. Wow. Even though they charge a delivery fee I was a little upset.
