The staff is fantastic and they do an awesome job keeping up with the busy-ness at this location. They always have great service and are nice, fun people. I'm also glad that Starbucks and the staff makes a great effort to keep things clean and keep people safe from COVID. However, at this point in time, I don't think it makes sense anymore to still disallow people from sitting indoors. I don't mind sitting outside and prefer it sometimes, but sometimes I need to use the outlets to charge my laptop or other devices and outlets are not available outdoors. Also because COVID rarely spreads on surfaces (except in the form of water droplets-- but even then, it is still rare to get it this way) and people who are unvaccinated are required to wear masks anyways, it scientifically does not make much sense to forbid people from sitting inside at the tables. The ability to sit and study while drinking my coffee was one of the things I liked most about Starbucks-- I have a tumultuous home life so sometimes I have to leave to get peace and quiet to study/work-- but the fact that people cannot use the tables indoors still really creates a problem. For this reason, even though this Starbucks has been a 2 minute drive from me since I was 5 years old, I would rather make the 15 minute drive to a different local coffee place because they have indoor seating available again after...
Read moreI’m genuinely disappointed and frustrated with the “remodel” at this Starbucks location. What used to be a welcoming space for relaxing, studying, or meeting friends has now been reduced to a cramped, uncomfortable pick-up area. There’s barely any seating left—maybe three spots—all crammed directly in front of the busy pick-up counter. It’s impossible to sit and enjoy a coffee without feeling like you’re in everyone’s way. Even if you’re just here to grab a quick order, you’re packed into a tiny space with other customers, which makes the experience feel rushed and uncomfortable.
What really adds to the disappointment is how the owner is handling feedback to these reviews. Instead of addressing the many concerns, they’re just giving everyone the same generic, copy-paste response and directing people to a link. I tried that link, hoping to share my feedback, but it only took me to a general customer support page—not a place where my concerns would actually be heard. It’s disheartening to see such a lack of consideration for customers who’ve enjoyed this location for years. I get that it’s just a Starbucks and there are ten more in its place, but the Huntsman/Crosspointe community doesn’t have too many casual third spaces and this location used to really fill in that need. Just really sad to see...

One of the things I love about Starbucks is that their service is always consistent from store to store. Recently, I have visited Starbucks in several States (VA, NC, SC, DE, MD), and the baristas are consistently polite and nice. Some are more quiet than others, but fortunately, never rude or unpleasant. I started collecting the Been There State Mugs last week, and decided to get the DC one today. This past week, I picked up the North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. I plan on going back to some of the States I have visited and pick up their been there mugs. I ordered the Green tea lemonade with 4 pumps of sugar cane... it was good and expected. I haven't been at the location in awhile, and at this visit, I noticed a book library where you take a book and drop off...
