Courthouse Cafe — Restaurant in Virginia

Went to have Breakfast this morning at Courthouse cafe 10/5/2021 Before I went I called the order in at 8:20 am told the girl what we wanted and told her I was on the way and we would be eating there ! Walked in the door at 8:30 told her I'm the one that called in the order got coffee and at 9:15 still no food ! I got up and walked up to the counter and the waitress was waiting on another customer she looks at me and SAID WHAT'S THE PROBLEM I turned and looked at her and said excuse me she said WHAT'S THE PROBLEM I then said THE PROBLEM is I have been waiting 45 mins and still no food had to get it to go because had to be at a Dr Appointment at 10 am so didnt have time to eat ! THE PROBLEM IS SHE STAYED ON HER PHONE THE WHOLE TIME WE WAS THERE TEXTING AND HER ATTITUDE WASN'T THE BEST ! IF YOU HAVE A JOB WORKING WITH THE PUBLIC YOU REALLY SHOULDN'T ASK THEM WHAT'S YOUR PROBLEM BECAUSE THE PROBLEM IS YOU FOR TREATING YOUR...

Fantastic small town diner. I stopped by for a quick lunch while in town for work. Service was fast and friendly. I ordered the barbecue platter with potato salad and deviled eggs. Food was out quick and for a 9 dollar meal you'd be looking at 15 at chain restaurants with how much pork was on my plate. The barbecue was sweet, Smokey with a little spice at the end of everybite. The staff was friendly and the food was decent. But the building doesnt feel clean or well kept. The ceiling above the tables is caked in dirt/dust and what i can assume is mold from water damage, it makes you feel like no matter how good the food is, Something gross is gonna fall right down into it. If that was fixed and the place given a nice deep clean. Im sure id go back. Until then, if i cant guarantee the places i can see are clean, i cant guarantee the places i cant see are either. I wont be back, but try it...
