I don’t live in Rustburg and there aren’t many food options here but I come weekly so my foster kiddos can have visit with mom and dad.
I went in and ordered combination fried rice which has beef chicken and shrimp.
It was kinda weird bc I didn’t hear anyone cooking anything but when I got it, it was bright yellow rice and the beef was so squishy and pale, when I tasted it, it was like I bit a piece of gelatin. I don’t even know if it was beef. And I’m sad because I want to support local businesses and restraints, it’s a hard economy right now. I couldn’t eat it so I went back to tell the woman who helped me. She was pretty upset and I was kind and just explained that it wasn’t good, and she threw it away and gave me a refund. (Which I’m grateful for) but I asked if I could maybe order something else and she was just pissed and said no.
I don’t like to return my food because it’s just sucky for everyone but I literally couldn’t eat that. It’s not my fault the food was bad, so i was upset that i was treated like the nuisance. If you want customers, make good food, be flexible, and be kind to your patrons or you’re gonna lose them. I’m...
Read moreI use to love eating here and it's one of the only chinese restaurants in the area unless u go a ways to rustburg or south boston. The location is convenient, the staff is very friendly. The food use to be really good a few months back but sadly it has went majorly down hill. The last 3 times I ordered here it was bad. I got sesame chicken (my fav meal) and each of the last 3 times it had a bad taste. It tasted like it was old food not fresh cooked. It was also so hard that I couldn't eat it. So my last 3 visits I lost $13 x3. After the third time I stopped eating here I felt 3 times would be enough to redeem themselves but that didn't happen. The food would need to majorly improve before I ever...
Read moreFor a tiny, out-of-the way place, their food is quite good. My wife and I got carry-out (we always get Chinese carry-out on the day we move to a new campground; we're full-time travelers). Everything was hot, fresh, and very good. We got spring roll and egg roll, wonton soup (1qt, very tasty), and I got the house special fried rice made extra spicy the way I like, and she got the house special lo mein, also really good. Would recommend if you're nearby. Good value...
