I’ve had the opportunity of visiting Emilys Snow Cone twice and both times have been amazing. I’ve had the pupusas de chicharrón, beef pastelitos, nuegados, empanadas de plátano, yuca con chicharrón, to name a few items and they all cooked and tasted amazing and delicious. The visit wouldn’t of been complete without having tried the snow cones which were just as good as the food and a refreshing way to end an amazing visit. The staff are also very friendly and welcoming and the restaurant is one of the cleanest I’ve seen; it was a welcoming sight to see staff wiping down tables after they were done being used so that they could be clean for other patrons unlike other restaurants where tables aren’t cleaned as often. We had Elote loco ("crazy corn", coated in Mayo and cheese, ketchup and mustard if you want), and plain corn; torta Mexicana (Pannini-like, ham w/pickled vegetables); and chicken taquitos (finely shredded meat in thinly rolled crunchy corn tortillas), as it was a late dinner vs dessert time.
