Habit Burger & Grill — Restaurant in Virginia

Went here for the first time the other night and will definitely come back. The burger was full of natural flavor, grilled right and not pressed, and the toppings were fresh. The burgers also passed the picky kid eater test as well.

I also want to add the service was great as well. Quick follow ups and pleasant interactions with multiple members of the staff. My kiddos dropped their gummy burgers and the staff quickly gave them new ones after they dropped them. Had to ask for a ketchup refill at the dispenser and they quickly took care of it and took care of us. I always feel bad asking because I’ve worked these kinds of jobs before, and I know how busy they can get, but everyone was polite and prompt, no one seemed bothered or annoyed by us bringing it to their attention.

I have two regrets though. First regret, the fries I got were super salty, so I just put them to the side, but later realized just mine in our group of five were that salty. Wish I’d have asked for a replacement but didn’t want to bother the folks. So what I’m saying is that their fries are really really good. Second, I wish I got one of the shakes or a cone for dessert. That has been added to my list to have next time we go back.

Came in on a Wednesday night, and they were quite busy. They had a lot of people coming in for pick-ups, takeaways and dine ins. The staff were polite, friendly and patient even though they were busy. It was my first time trying The Habit Burger Grill, and I had a really positive experience. You can order at the counter if you prefer, but they also have kiosks where you can place your order as well. It can get quite busy, but there's plenty of seating. It can get loud as well when there's a lot of people there, but not much more than your fast-food joint.

I ordered the Portabella Char Burger meal: the burger came with the fries and a drink. The Portabella burger was pretty good with a lot of flavor. The fries were great: they were crispy and not too salty. They have quite a few options for drinks, but I opted for just regular fountain soda drink. They also have a small bar with condiments and additional toppings for whatever you ordered. I grabbed some jalapenos and banana peppers for myself.

I visit this location often. They are usually good when you dine in at the restaurant. Food quality and in terms of taste is Amazing. Personally I would recommend the Steak Sandwich with Teriyaki Sauce. On an another note, you do have to be careful when you do takeout. I always have issues with their takeout. I ordered curbside takeout twice in last 3 weeks. Both times my order wasn’t up to the mark. First time, it was minor issues which I totally ignored because I think the work is done human and we all make mistakes. My last visit went beyond the limit. Total 3 items ordered. Out of 3 items, 2 items were incomplete. Paid extra to add avocado in the sandwich and it was missing. I choose Caesar salad dressing for my salad, it was also missing. It may sound like I am being too picky but these are small details that people want to go to a specific restaurant for. I have reported my last visit issue through their official website.
