Hilton Tavern Brewing Co. — Restaurant in Virginia

It has been a while since we've been in due to the Covid. Looks like all tables are available. We came in on a Saturday night about 6:30 and still had a few tables to choose from. We were greeted by our friendly server. Before the Covid we had come often as we are within walking distance. Hilton Tavern is always clean and tonight was no exception. We both were looking forward to something we had often enjoyed, their chili. Its not on the menu but as our server said they always have it. I had a quite generous side of sweet potato fries and my friend had a huge side of hush puppies. Unfortunately tonight's chili was rather bland and mine was room temperature. Our server was really good. Hilton Tavern still has live music and we stayed a bit after our supper to listen. Most tables are adults and noise is mid level in volume. We will come back soon but put the chili on a back burner as they have great BBQ. The prices are very fare. Somewhere earlier someone posted about how great their onion rings are at Hilton Tavern. I tend to take a dim view of praises for onion rings; however, presently I am sitting on their back patio with their rings and a beverage. (Photo is after I had eaten about half of the order. ) Their rings are OVER THE TOP GREAT! I highly recommend Hilton Tavern!!!! We came to get apps before going to a comedy club and the atmosphere here was amazing. Live music! Low key vibes. The server, Brandon, was so attentive and enthusiastic. My only miss was the food. I got the cow and sow and the spinach and artichoke. Both unfortunately both were bland. No seasoning on the burnt ends or the pork belly, the bbq sauce saved it.
