As I sit in my kitchen this morning eating delicious cinnamon sugar, raspberry filled “doughnuts”, lemon bars, Nutella pound cake and banana nut bread, I’m remembering the lovely lunch from yesterday! My mother, my sister, my daughter, and I (from 3 states) gathered together this week in Hampton. We stopped by Indulge Bakery and Bistro for lunch during a day of thrifting! We each ordered something different from the menu. I had the delicious country club sandwich on homemade bread which was lightly toasted and layered with a generous amount of ham, bacon, sun-dried tomatoes, cheese, and fresh lettuce. I opted for the mix of stoneground/Dijon mustard. My mom had homemade chicken salad made with tender white meat, finely chopped celery, and just the right amount of mayonnaise. My daughter really enjoyed the caprese panini which was perfectly toasted. My sister thoroughly enjoyed the Cobb salad which was cut up nicely and had a generous portion of everything that makes a Cobb salad perfect. The dressing was light so the blue cheese flavor came from the high quality blue cheese that topped the salad. The iced coffee was delicious and had a pleasant flavor from the strong cold brew. The iced tea was so good we got to-go cups to take with us. Almost as amazing as the food is the friendly service! Indulge Bakery and Bistro is now our favorite...

We enjoyed the homemade Tomato Basil Soup served with "Ooey gooey melted 4-cheese grilled sandwich, which was a great match for dipping soup, that warms the heart on a chilly-day to relax with family, folks and friends. Atmosphere Cute little bistro with both indoor and outdoor seating, finished with nice outdoor lighting.

Service The lady at the front counter was nice but they forgot about my bread pudding and they forgot about my friends carrot cake. Which made me and my friend to have to wait in the line again to pick it up.

Food I ordered the breakfast sandwich and according to my friend who is very fond of breakfast sandwiches " it's not comparable to a northern breakfast sandwich but it is good". I could just agree with his latter point seeing as I'm not from a place that specializes in breakfast sandwiches. My wife got the avocado toast and liked it very much. For drinks I intended in getting the creme brulee and my wife got the chai latte. I don't think either of us got what we ordered. Both of us seemed to get an iced mocha latte. Again not sure if this was an issue with the kitchen or server but it was good...
