I don’t usually leave reviews, but Manhattan Pizza absolutely deserves the spotlight. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming—not just because of the smell of fresh, bubbling pizza, but because of the incredible team running the place.
Let me start with Lydia, the cashier. She was an absolute gem. Friendly, patient, and genuinely kind, Lydia didn’t just take my order—she walked me through the whole menu, made recommendations based on what I like (try the buffalo chicken rolls—you’ll thank me later), and never made me feel rushed, even during a busy time. It’s rare to find someone so personable and attentive at the front counter.
And then there’s J.P., the manager, who completely raised the bar for what great customer service looks like. He came over just to check in, made sure everything was up to standard, and when I had a couple of picky questions (okay, I’m a toppings-on-the-side type), he personally made sure the kitchen got it just right. You can tell he genuinely cares about every guest’s experience—and that attitude radiates through the whole staff.
The food? Phenomenal. Crust that’s perfectly crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Cheese that melts like a dream. Sauces that are rich and flavorful without being overpowering. And portions that definitely give you your money’s worth.
But what really makes Manhattan Pizza stand out is the people. In a world where great service is becoming harder to find, Lydia and J.P. reminded me that kindness, professionalism, and a little extra effort can turn a good meal into an unforgettable experience.
If you’re anywhere near this spot, go now. Come for the pizza, but stay for the service. Lydia and J.P.—you both made my...
Read moreI've waited over a month for Manhattan Pizza to open as there aren't any really good pizza places in Stafford. Tried ordering my food online but their website hadn't been updated with the current operating hours so I could not place my order online. I tried calling in my order multiple times but the phone was either busy or no one would answer so I decided to drive there and order in person. The line was quite long but it moved fairly quickly. I ordered my food and asked how long it would take. I was told about 30-40 minutes. After waiting 45 minutes and no food, I asked how long they think it would take and I was told that my salad was ready, but my garlic knots and pizza were not. I waited another 30 minutes and got one of my pizzas and garlic knots, but was still missing a second pizza. I asked multiple employees about my missing pizza and they couldn't locate it so they had to make me another one. An hour and a half after placing my order, I finally got all my items. However, by this time the first pizza was cold. My family ate the food and it was decent, but not the best, and certainly not worth an hour and a half wait. I was hoping to be able to give this place a great review, but I was very disappointed.
I decided to give this place two stars because the employees were very polite and I could see they were frustrated at how things were going. They were trying their best to take care of the customers. Had it not been for them, I would give Manhattan Pizza zero stars. To be fair, the place just opened a week ago. Hopefully it will be better once they work the kinks out, but I will be waiting a while for this to happen...
Read moreI had an unfortunate dining experience at Manhattan Pizza recently, and it all stemmed from one particular employee named Elijah. This was the second time we encountered his strange and arrogant attitude, which left a sour taste in our mouths.
Upon receiving our pizza, Elijah's demeanor was immediately apparent. He carelessly threw the pizza holder onto our table without any regard for the food or presentation. Throughout the meal, every time our food was brought to us, he continued this disrespectful behavior, either throwing the plates in front of us or sliding them aggressively onto the table. It was clear that he had a personal vendetta against us, as we observed him treating other customers with much more respect and courtesy.
When one of our group members politely asked him to handle the food more gently, he dismissed the feedback, claiming he wasn't "throwing" anything. His dismissive response demonstrated a lack of professionalism and a refusal to acknowledge his inappropriate actions.
As a patron, I believe that customer service is a crucial aspect of any dining establishment, and Elijah's behavior severely detracted from our overall experience. The lack of respect and his evident disdain for us left us feeling unwelcome and uncomfortable throughout the meal.
In light of this unpleasant encounter, I would hesitate to recommend Manhattan Pizza to others until they address the issue with Elijah's behavior. I believe that every customer should be treated with equal respect and courtesy, and such unprofessional conduct is not acceptable in any...
