Walk-in/take out test visit to this new restaurant. Very clean. Very pleasant counter staff that need more training as do the employees making the food. *If you don't know what you're doing, ask someone that does! The ordering process revealed the staff wasn't familiar with the offerings or maybe the magic picture buttons on the register were setup incorrectly? A Ruben sandwich is always served hot. I was asked if I wanted it hot or cold? Humm red flag. The main website for Manhattan pizza has detailed pictures of each menu item and shows the Ruben sandwich hot/grilled with sauerkraut. Some wizard putting my sandwich together decided it didn't need the sauerkraut but with takeout you don't get the joy of finding that out till you get home. The meat on the pastrami on rye was a little salty but ok at best. The onion rings were very good. Almost $24 for a couple sandwiches and onion rings. Very expensive. I'll wait a year or so before trying this place again if they make it. *Note this review was completed without using ridiculous un-discriptive terms like OMG, awesome, the bomb, yummy, delish, to die for, do yourself a favor, trust me, etc.. Describe the food, service (or lack of) and provide details on the cost/copy of check and include pictures! Is the place clean? No one cares about the waiter/waitress names, their abilities, or if they look like they fell face first into a tackle box. They get changed like underwear and you don't get to pick one. No we don't care about your allergies or the need for gluten free food.

My wife and I come out here on 26 Juy 2022 to give this a try. The establishment was clean when we first walked through. It has a open setting with a spot for picking up your food. The pizza was decent and had a fair amount of ingredients as you can see in the photos. The pepperoni rolls had a weird texture as far as the dough. I think it is similar to a croissant roll but they are definitely frozen and then just baked. Not hand made, I was disappointed by this. The food came out very fast, they have a conveyor belt oven. The cheesy bread was just a sub bun cut open and had a good amount of mozzarella cheese and garlic on it. The sauce for it was hot and descent. So it was hot and they brought it right out but didn't see any enthusiasm in their attitude. Their drink area and selection is small and the area was a bit dirty from straw wrappers not making it into the trash. The employees seem a bit intimidated and not confident in their work, this comes from a lack of a good manager/leader. They will need to smile more and actually enjoy the job and not take out their frustrations out on their customers with small chatter and looks given. They do have a fair selection of gelato and three sorbets in the ice cream section. I didn't have room for that. For the pizza, I don't know if I will go back.

The pizza is good, but it’s not an over the top notch pizza. And maybe I expected too much as I was told they do the real brick oven pizza here(so in my mind I’m expecting the real authentic pizza), turns out they do the good ol’ conveyor belt a la Pizza Hut, dominos and papa johns type of pizza instead. Again pizza is good but for that price I was expecting more but they fall into the same category as top mentioned pizzas. Oh and be sure to order extra toppings. I ordered extra pepperoni And I’m glad I did, had I ordered normal I probably would have ended up with 2 slices of pepperoni on entire pizza. They are stingy with their toppings. I’ll stick with Sam’s pizza I will return for their gelatos though, don’t know what they taste but they look delecious 😃👍 UPDATE: Returned for the gelatos And oh my are they GOOD. You can tell they are made with real and fresh ingredients. Super delecious

I don’t usually leave reviews, but Manhattan Pizza absolutely deserves the spotlight. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming—not just because of the smell of fresh, bubbling pizza, but because of the incredible team running the place.

Let me start with Lydia, the cashier. She was an absolute gem. Friendly, patient, and genuinely kind, Lydia didn’t just take my order—she walked me through the whole menu, made recommendations based on what I like (try the buffalo chicken rolls—you’ll thank me later), and never made me feel rushed, even during a busy time. It’s rare to find someone so personable and attentive at the front counter.

And then there’s J.P., the manager, who completely raised the bar for what great customer service looks like. He came over just to check in, made sure everything was up to standard, and when I had a couple of picky questions (okay, I’m a toppings-on-the-side type), he personally made sure the kitchen got it just right. You can tell he genuinely cares about every guest’s experience—and that attitude radiates through the whole staff.

The food? Phenomenal. Crust that’s perfectly crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Cheese that melts like a dream. Sauces that are rich and flavorful without being overpowering. And portions that definitely give you your money’s worth.

But what really makes Manhattan Pizza stand out is the people. In a world where great service is becoming harder to find, Lydia and J.P. reminded me that kindness, professionalism, and a little extra effort can turn a good meal into an unforgettable experience.

If you’re anywhere near this spot, go now. Come for the pizza, but stay for the service. Lydia and J.P.—you both made my...

I've waited over a month for Manhattan Pizza to open as there aren't any really good pizza places in Stafford. Tried ordering my food online but their website hadn't been updated with the current operating hours so I could not place my order online. I tried calling in my order multiple times but the phone was either busy or no one would answer so I decided to drive there and order in person. The line was quite long but it moved fairly quickly. I ordered my food and asked how long it would take. I was told about 30-40 minutes. After waiting 45 minutes and no food, I asked how long they think it would take and I was told that my salad was ready, but my garlic knots and pizza were not. I waited another 30 minutes and got one of my pizzas and garlic knots, but was still missing a second pizza. I asked multiple employees about my missing pizza and they couldn't locate it so they had to make me another one. An hour and a half after placing my order, I finally got all my items. However, by this time the first pizza was cold. My family ate the food and it was decent, but not the best, and certainly not worth an hour and a half wait. I was hoping to be able to give this place a great review, but I was very disappointed.

I decided to give this place two stars because the employees were very polite and I could see they were frustrated at how things were going. They were trying their best to take care of the customers. Had it not been for them, I would give Manhattan Pizza zero stars. To be fair, the place just opened a week ago. Hopefully it will be better once they work the kinks out, but I will be waiting a while for this to happen...

I had an unfortunate dining experience at Manhattan Pizza recently, and it all stemmed from one particular employee named Elijah. This was the second time we encountered his strange and arrogant attitude, which left a sour taste in our mouths.

Upon receiving our pizza, Elijah's demeanor was immediately apparent. He carelessly threw the pizza holder onto our table without any regard for the food or presentation. Throughout the meal, every time our food was brought to us, he continued this disrespectful behavior, either throwing the plates in front of us or sliding them aggressively onto the table. It was clear that he had a personal vendetta against us, as we observed him treating other customers with much more respect and courtesy.

When one of our group members politely asked him to handle the food more gently, he dismissed the feedback, claiming he wasn't "throwing" anything. His dismissive response demonstrated a lack of professionalism and a refusal to acknowledge his inappropriate actions.

As a patron, I believe that customer service is a crucial aspect of any dining establishment, and Elijah's behavior severely detracted from our overall experience. The lack of respect and his evident disdain for us left us feeling unwelcome and uncomfortable throughout the meal.

In light of this unpleasant encounter, I would hesitate to recommend Manhattan Pizza to others until they address the issue with Elijah's behavior. I believe that every customer should be treated with equal respect and courtesy, and such unprofessional conduct is not acceptable in any...
