I ordered 2 Collector’s Meals through DoorDash, bag arrived sealed with no Collector’s Cups. Wrong drink as well. This is not the driver’s fault. DoorDash gave $9 refund but each meal was over $15 a piece, so over $30 total. This is the first day of the campaign and I worked at McDonald’s during the first Beanie Baby run…I know how this works. They’re going to refund the cup money while their employees take the cups or hand out to friends. Customers at the end of the day become victims. Yes, just a cup, but this McDonald’s is hurting the brand. If you want to partake in McDonald’s fun campaigns go to another location. These folks are mediocre at best-have low expectations if you dine here. Lastly, I should have made a huge wager their phone wouldn’t work, they don’t want to take responsibility for anything at this location. The number says the owner is not taking phone calls. Typical. And yes, we are all well aware it’s fast food, but here’s the deal: don’t ever mess with my money.
The real bottom line here is I should be able to go to any McDonald’s and have the exact same experience. Corporate makes it easy for them, provides visual/audio training and station guides, but these people can’t handle it. McDonald’s is using these nostalgic items lately because they’re from the last generation that cares about community rather than themselves. I worked at McDonald’s during the first Beanie Baby release and our store’s first McFlurry. I was 15. I learned a lot. I cared. I knew it was a typical fast food joint but that didn’t mean it meant any less to the community…after all, I saw them on every shift. Today these folks don’t care. The owner operator needs to relieve this manager and I sometimes question the owner’s decisions. I can’t imagine they’d put all that cash into revitalizing the building but not include good management and staff. They need to own it by deleting the manager and all staff, hire brand new staff and train properly, then advertise “Under New Management” to the community. It really could be a great store. If McDonald’s is serious about success they’ll wipe it clean inside. Trust me, we can live without it for a month while you figure it out and you’d come out with better revenue on the 3m chart because we’d be able to trust our dollar being spent here is what corporate intended. Decline started immediately after the reopening. Find a veteran...
Read moreI am a single mom with anxiety, and I was trying DoorDash for the first time, although I was skeptical to because of all of the interaction. Today was my first day, and my last order was at this McDonald’s. I walked in and showed them my phone for the order, which was a happy kids meal, and they said that they didn’t have the order and went to go back to what they were doing. I stood there for about five minutes or more, and asked them if they were working on it. The girl Ashley turned around and said I already told you that we don’t have that order with an attitude. I said OK, are you going to make it? And she said no you have to contact DoorDash. I contacted DoorDash and DoorDash said to give them the order so that they can make it, and I showed her my phone and she tapped the option that said that the “store didn’t trust that they would be paid” aggressively on my phone. I then asked if they would be making the order, and then I began to wait again. After about another five minutes she turns around because someone else said something behind me and she said what is the issue? With and attitude while looking at me. I said I’m just waiting for the order still. And then she snapped at me with an attitude and said I already told you that you have to wait. And I said I am waiting, you just asked me what the issue was? Needless to say, her, and all of the young people that works there, were being very unprofessional and aggressive, and not to mention a customer jumped in, and it was just all around too much, overstimulating and unnecessary. She yelled at me and told the crew to cancel the order and I had to contact doordash again and spoke with customer and apologized to her. I have been in customer service for 17 years and taking care of others is what I pride myself in and this was a disgusting example of where society is going and how we treat each other. Do...
Read moreThis place is the most horrible place I have ever stepped foot in. The first thing you see when you walk in is diarea all over the floor. There were at least three piles of it right by the booth I was going to sit in. the smell is very strong too so it smells like rotting diarea. I decided to ignore that and order anyways. I asked the person at the cash register very nicely for a mcdouble, a large frie, three chocolate milkshakes, and a twenty count chicken nugget. He looked at me rudely and asked "is that all for you? or do you want more you fatty?" I was shook. I said "excuse me?" and he just walked away and started to prepare my food. I got all my food on a tray but there was a chunk of hair on my tray but not only that, the hair was soaked in some sort of liquid. I went to go sit down and all over the booth there was water. I chose a new one. I opened up my box of chicken nuggets and there was a bandaid in it and only three and a half chicken nuggets. My three milkshakes were fine though. I opened up one of my burgers to put ketchup on and they had completely forgotten to put the patty on. I started to cry realizing that all my food was damaged and that I was going to starve to death. I went up and asked to speak to the manager and she said "are you going to eat all that food you 500 pound obese whale." and I looked at her with shockism. "im actually 497 pounds u meanie" I said to her. She walked away. I threw my food over the counter and walked out. And when I got to my parking spot I realized my car had been stolen by one of the worker. He had left a note in my parking spot saying that he hated me and I could use a nice walk or jog home seeing as im so obese. Overall I give this...
