I had been on the road for 2 hours and stopped here for breakfast and to use the restroom. I ordered food through the app. When I arrived at the location, I was told by the employees that the store was closed. I told them I needed to get a refund and they told me that I needed to contact some ride-sharing food delivery program to get my refund. I told them that I made the order through the app and they told me that they didn't know how to give me a refund.
I got on the phone and jumped through a bunch of hoops to try and get a hold of somebody. I finally received a message late yesterday morning telling me that in order to get a refund, I would have to go to the location or go back to the location at a later date and they would count me my food. In the end I was given a gift certificate for the price of the meal that I ordered.
I was also told by the person that I spoke with that there was no reason for the location not to give me my food because their equipment was not down, their registers were down. According to the person I spoke with, they still could have given me my food.
A lot of training needs to happen at this location. First employees need to be able to provide customers with a customer service number. If something like this happens. They need to be able to tell customers why they are not able to fill their orders. From what I understand, the employees also need to know that if orders come through the online app, they need to be fulfilled regardless of whether their other computer systems are down as long as they're cooking equipment is online.

Read moreI should have known to drive off when they stated they were only taking orders inside. I parked and came inside - total disaster. The floors smelled like old mop water , dirty rags left on the drink counter, trash, and spilled beverages everywhere . The overall cleanliness of this store was nothing above subpar !
The manager was up front taking orders & also on her phone . I stood there for a moment , clearly her conversation was more important - planning her exit from the company . She only half listened to what i said and did not confirm the order. I had to ask her to before i paid. She hands the phone off to an assuming second manager and cursed out staff members who were “lounging” in the dining area. Threatening to write them up because “If I can’t sit down neither can y’all . Get up before i write you up “ This store needs more training and better managers .
My order as well as many others were missing food! No one in this establishment knows how to talk to anyone or have any decorum for customer service. Every time DoorDash drivers came in - the staff could not be bothered . This store needs a complete redo between its staff and training .
Honestly this place seemed more like a family cookout than a business establishment . Family hanging out in the lobby and the comments flying from person to person , truly was appalling . Go to any McDonald’s...

No one answered the drive thru speaker to let customers know that they were closing early (Mgmt said that he had permission from higher Mgmt to close the store early). The cook who answered the back window after knocking and blowing for 10 min said they were still open. Once I reached the front window the front cashier said that they were closed. I assured her that the cook at back window said that they were open. She then asked Mgmt after being confused if they were still talking orders who I asked to speak to after being told by the front window employee that the store was closed. The manager on duty had no explanation to closing early other than they needed to be clocked out by 12:30 AM. I assured him that it was only 11:15 PM and that me and other customer had been waiting due to being ignored at the speaker. He offered no apology and had no excuse to close early, considering during the whole conversation his other two employees stood at the window to hear the discussion rather than closing which they said they had to do early while the male employee stood there and drank chocolate milk at the window.
