Moe's Southwest Grill — Restaurant in Virginia

This place has a lot of potential, However this specific location has a lot flaws. and things that need to be worked on. Their biggest issue which is apparent every time I go in is staffing they are either understaffed or the people that they have working there do not have the appropriate training to be able to run the place. Also their marketing is severely lacking this specific location does not promote moe's Monday. And in the burrito market especially in Harrisonburg they have some steep competition. How do they expect new customers to come in and buy from them over the competition if they don't offer or promote such a good deal. Also the man who either manages or owns the place seems to have in over all apathetic attitude and doesn't seem to help his employees what so ever. I am writing this review mostly because I don't want to see another business fail and with another burrito place here in Harrisonburg opening that's inevitably what's going to happen to...

Came in for lunch and it was absolutely AWFUL. My brother wanted carnitas, which was basically out and when he asked if they could make more they simply said no we don’t think we have any more in the back and then continued on. The “sweet” tea tasted like water and the ground beef was EXTREMELY greasy. To the point grease was piling and dripping out of our tacos, which weren’t really that warm to begin with. When we went and asked for a refund the manager, Nathan was less than helpful however he did refund our money, after charging my card for the second time..... after which we asked to speak to the general manger, after personally calling her and getting the store to as well, the answer I got was, we can’t get ahold of her I suggest calling back tomorrow. This place is like a revamped version of Taco Bell--and it's 100 times better!! 👍👏 The food is SUPER fresh👌, and they make your meal in front of you like they do at Subway. They literally have fresh-cut cilantro to sprinkle on top of your meal 🌱 (BIG bonus points there because what is Mexican food without fresh cilantro--well, it's just food, haha). There are 5 or 6 different types of salsa to choose from, and three of those are delicious (I'm too scared to try "hot" anything at a Mexican restaurant because I want to taste the food and not kill my taste buds 🌶😥). Fresh tortilla chips also come with your meal, and the queso cheese is really good (it's an extra charge, but so worth it). We ordered 3 adult meals and 1 kids meal, and our total was less than $30 😮--we can't even get that price at BK or McDonald's for crappy, unhealthy food.
