Monkee Joe's — Restaurant in Virginia

I have tried it at least 5 times and always get the same thing. A Heath bar twister (Blizzard). I thought the first couple of times I received a melted twister was because it was brought home by my kids after a 5-7 minute drive. However the last few times I ate there and the twister is complete soup! Not even close to ice cream, total liquid. How can DQ, Southern Creamery, Mr Goodies and others make quality Blizzards and Monkey Joe’s cannot. I’m done. Do yourself a favor...

Stopped by this afternoon and got an ice cream for my child and a coffee for me. The ice cream really is good but I promise that was the worst cup of coffee I have ever had and I have had some pretty nasty cups of coffee in my life travels. I could only imagine that if you made coffee with dirty mop bucket water this is what you would get. I took one sip and threw it away. Perhaps someone should run over to Joe Beans and ask them how they make coffee. Thank God the ice...

I had a large iced spiced chai latte. It was tasty, but their large cups are about the size of a grande (small) at Starbucks. The workers are all very friendly and polite. If ordering from the drive-thru, always be expecting to wait a while. You order at the window, and there is a line 7/10 times that I go. They're ice cream comes in a multitude of sizes to fit anyone's preference. I enjoy their softserve best. It comes in something like 12...
