Narita Japanese Sushi Restaurant — Restaurant in Virginia

My husband and I have eaten here many, many times. We decided to stop in for lunch today and were pretty disappointed. My husbands beef my husbands beef teriyaki dish came back with steakum type of meat versus how he's always been served – long strips of beef. Instead I ordered the set s instead I ordered the sashimi lunchbox. My biggest complaint was the salmon which was served slightly icy. This is very unappetizing to me! Considering how often my husband and I go and eat here, our complaints to the waitress not compensated in anyway. An apology directly from the owner or even a slight discount would've made us feel a lot better about the first 35 bucks we just spent eating lunch. I will go and eat there again but without...

Before I say anything.. the sushi is REALLY good!! 2 stars only because the chefs are truly talented.

This was my first visit. My husband and I came in for dinner and my husband ordered first, chicken cutlets (even pointed to it on the menu and asked for a fork.. we got the fork lol), and I had sushi. His food never came. The waitresses never wrote down his order and then acted like it was our fault! No refills on tea, completely ignored us and then printed our ticket at the register and slammed a pen on tip of it and walked away! If we had given a reason for the rudeness I could understand it, but jeez! We didn't do anything! We came up from nc and decided to go have a nice quiet dinner but ended up having drama from the waitresses because she messed up. Sushi was amazing, but my husband not eating dinner and a lot of attitude puts this restaurant on the " NEVER eating...

Busy on a Tuesday evening with eat in and take out. The wait staff kept up well with the hectic pace. I got the Korean chirashi and a spicy octopus appetizer. I prefer the Korean chirashi over the Japanese style because it is more like a salad with all of the vegetables. The fish was OK. Some was not as fresh as I would like but the overall dish was good. The octopus was tasty but was heavy on the spicy mayo sauce. They advertised adding Kraft cheese on top of your ramen for $1. My son said that is very Japanese. The sushi I saw being served was attractive but seemed heavy on mayo and other sauces, which is typical of American sushi. There were a lot of regulars getting take out and eating in, which is a good sign. Not my most favorite sushi restaurant but good. I would come again to try...
