I've order from here 5 times, 4 of those times have been scheduled in advance. The pizza has never arrived before 25 minutes AFTER the scheduled delivery time and the pizza is always cold. The excuse is always that "the driver couldn't find the place". I have been very generous and understanding until tonight. I ordered the pizza 2 hours in advance, then called 30 minutes before delivery to make sure the driver had exact directions. The pizza never came, I called the same kid back at that time and asked where the pizza was, he said it hadn't even left. I said I didn't want the pizza to arrive cold AND late like it had the previous 4 times and asked when it would be here, he said 10 minutes MAX. I said, ok, after 10 minutes considered the order canceled. He said "ok". The pizza didn't come until 17 minutes after that phone call ended for a total of over 30 minutes late. I left a note on the door explaining that the kid who answers the phones guaranteed it would be there in 10 minutes(25 minutes late) and that if not, the order was to be canceled. I feel sorry for the driver, but I cannot pay for cold, gross pizza for...
Read moreLet’s face it Papa Johns pizza is nothing great, on its best day it’s 2 star pizza. The rest of the stars come from execution and customer service. For me they fell down on both and for that I would give them ZERO stars if that was possible. For starters, the gentlemen working the cash register seemed incompetent (more on that later), they forgot to give me part of my order and I had to come back to the store and then they were so understaffed that I had to wait seven minutes to even get someone to help me. It wasn’t until the next day when I checked my banking records that I could see that I was charged the full $16.10 even though I handed the cashier a gift card with a balance of $15.42. I was expecting to find a charge for the balance of $.68. I went down to the store and was told they don’t know what to do and they gave me the 800 number. When I finally got through and explained my situation, they said they couldn’t help me and that maybe Bestbuy could since that’s where the gift card came from. So in the end, I got some crappy, at best, 2 star pizza, for $31.52. ZERO...
Read morePapa Johns quality doesn't exist at this location. We've did business at this location 4-5 times. The flavor of the pies are "good" but the quality is far from the typical Papa Johns from other parts of the southeast that I'm used to. Being a former employee I know that there is a right way to sauce their pizza and the importance the franchise puts on coming the sauce with the cheese. I know that the franchise places importance on evenly distributing toppings. I also know that bubbles in the crust (the ones that shift the toppings and create a bare spot on the pie) was unacceptable when I worked there and required correction, usually a remake. These issues is what our family has experienced in our transactions here in all their pies, pizza, cheese sticks or any other pie from there and it has happened every time. Better flavored ingredients than Little Ceasars, but come on, I expect far better from Papa Johns and I know the franchise standards are better than what the subpar quality at this...
