I don't know if I should invoke the "left beef" meme, or the "empire of sour cream" horribly layered burrito joke for my review of this location's Cheez-It crunchwrap supreme.
There was one line through this crunchwrap with a nice blend of lettuce, beef, and Cheez-It... Which thankfully did intersect the somewhat circular wrap through the middle. I will admit I did like the left side of the burrito, as the beef and seasonings with it had great flavor. The right side was a bit dry, and I found myself peeling parts of the wrap away to avoid chewing on the singular piece of lettuce and tomato morsel lying on a king sized pillow of bread.
The Cheez-It flavor did not come through too strong... even after deconstructing what little was on the right side and fishing a piece of it out to try individually.
Not the greatest luck on the food, but I did order and get through the line in under 3 minutes, being the only person in line at any point during the drive through. Do wish they spent an extra 5 seconds on the food construction though.
Sadly, this seems to be closer to the norm for crunchwraps...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars, I would. The night staff is rude and you can hear the one female manager berating the employees. If she isn't berating the employees, she is leaned up against a counter, nose glued to her phone. The kids can be seen on a regular basis smoking pot in their cars or smoking cigarettes right by the doors. No wonder the food is always wrong. The store manager is obviously more concerned with making friends with the employees than keeping them in line and making them do their jobs. The only time the food has been correct was during the day. I guess the shift manager, a taller skinny guy, takes pride in his work. He has always been nice and energetic every time he has waited on me. But, the two female managers at night are rude as are the employees working under them. Unfortunately, I cannot rate the male shift manager separate from the other employees. Hopefully, he realizes his worth and moves on. He is too good for this...
Read moreStopped at the drive thru during a road tip and this was one of the best Taco Bell experiences I’ve had (and I’ve had many). The guys working were very polite and attentive. So many people working the register or window nowadays have a very poor and dismissive attitude, but not these guys. Then when the food came out, my lord, the Mexican pizza and Crunchwrap supreme were probably the best I’ve ever had. They were like loaded up the way they look in the advertisements. Compliments to the chef. Seems trivial, but it’s not. Seems like I’m exaggerating, but I’m not. It takes a lot to ruin a Taco Bell experience but I tell you what - it takes even more to stand out as a great one. These guys did it. Bravo.
P.S. If a manager sees this and wants to pass along the praise, it was the crew working around...
