My first time here and I thought I would at least give them a try. I'm a really critical and picky guy and I've been getting tired of wasting money on low quality food. First thing that struck me was how nice the employeea were and they had conversations with me. Very nice people. Also I noticed the many customers inside were nice and cheerful which was very odd to me. I had the spicy rice and the fried chicken sandwich. I would order both again and I will tell you that you probably can't find a better chicken sandwich, especially with so much meat. The only thing I would change would be to pat dry the chicken so it would not make the bun soggy. The price was not cheap but compared to what I would get for $5 less it's ridiculous. They sell quality here and their customers know it. I also noticed how they packaged the food and how they came outside to give it to me. They do things properly and they are very nice and polite. More restaurants need to...
Read moreI got the quarter chicken white meat with rice, it had an Afghani / Indian flavor profile. I thought the taste was quite good, and the serving size was appropriate. My companion got the side of potato fries and it was a large bowl of really yummy wedges. The restaurant itself was small and the tables were a little dingy. When we entered we were the only customers there, but I still had to wipe the table myself because all were a little messy/had some scraps from previous diners on them. The tables have the old wooden veneer that continuously feels a little tacky because of the years of use. Where we were seated allowed a straight view into the kitchen, which appeared spic and span clean, so that was refreshing! And again, food was surprisingly good and authentic tasting, though be prepared to wait a bit longer than you would at...
Read moreOrdered dinner from Peri Peri original in Ashburn. Ordering online was straightforward, and the food was ready on time as promised. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the quality of the food. We ordered a Honey Butter Chicken Sandwich (Mild), the Lamb Kofta (Hot), Shrimps Over Rice (Mild) , Flame Grilled Chicken Strips (Hot) with spicy rice, and an Oreo Milkshake. It seems that regardless of the spice level we ordered, all dishes were spicy and lacking in taste. The lamb kofta was dry and not tender at all. The chicken strips tasted sour, and the rice was almost tasteless (even though the description is “Spicy Rice” ). The Oreo milkshake was overly watery, diluted, and not drinkable. It’s a shame that this location does not seem to be consistent with others in the...
