Ricos Tacos Moya — Restaurant in Virginia

We went to this restaurant on a Friday night to eat and have a few drinks. When we arrived to the restaurant it was about 11:20 PM, I saw online and on the door hours that they close at 2 AM. We ordered our food and like at around 11:40 PM our food was served. We were still eating our food when the waitress told us that they will be closing in 10 minutes (which basically was going to be 12 AM). My husband and I looked at each other and honestly were confused. We asked the waitress what time they closed and she said that It all depended on how busy it was. After maybe 2 minutes after the waitress told us we had 10 minutes another person from the bar (either manager or owner) yelled from the bar to us saying that we had 5 minutes to leave otherwise they will call the police to take us out. The place was technically empty it was only 3 of us and another person in the bar. I feel like a restaurant should go by its hours and not by if its busy or not. Also it was very rude of them to basically kick us out of the place just because they thought it was the best of their interests. And not only that, but he thought it was okay with him to intimidate us with the police. Worst place to go out to have fun! Honestly we will not be going back and certainly do not recommend...

I've been to both locations in Stafford and the one by Woodbridge and I have to say I love their food one of very few authentic Mexican restaurant I would actually recommend. Only reason why it gets 3 stars is because when I visited the restaurant located in Stafford my waitress mistaked the Information on the menu and cause me to have to order another portion of that food because she stated that with the plate there came more then just one of the items. She also was not attentive of how much of my beverage I still had left so there came times where I sat there for a while waiting for her to come back around and I had to ask for more of my beverage or had to ask another random waiter keep in mind my family was 1 of maybe 2 other table filled. The owner/manager I couldn't tell what he was. he is honestly the hardest working person in that building and it's a shame that he's out working his waiters and waitresses. If he could get waiters that were on the spot like him I would give this...

Food is delicious! Food is authentic as you can get in Stafford, definitely not like most Americanized Mexican restaurants where everything is covered in cheese and the only thing served is some variation of tacos, burritos, or quesadillas. You won't recognize half of the items on the menu - but that's fine because it is probably all delicious. I was told the ownership changed recently and the quality increased, not sure if true. The restaurant loses 1 star due to long wait times after ordering. I am willing to wait for quality food, but the wait was just a little long. All employees werre VERY friendly. I imagine the service speed will increase with time as the restaurant is still very new. I recommend you give this restaurant a try if you're tired of American/Mexican food and are willing to try something you probably can't pronounce but will almost certainly...
