Shunxing Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Virginia

Ordered food from this establishment yesterday. Wanted to cancel my order, however, thought that because i didn’t give them my full card information the order wasn’t placed. Called back when i saw that money was deducted from my account less than 2 minutes after my order. Told the lady i wanted to cancel she told me that the delivery man was already 5 minutes out which made no sense seeing as i placed my order less than 6 minutes prior. asked for a refund she told me they don’t do that (makes absolutely no sense) and asked for the driver to come back to the store. i told her if i wasn’t going to get my refund i’d like food. she later told the driver to go back to my house and that i didn’t want a refund. that was a lie so i told her no i do want my refund and the driver doesn’t have to come back. the lady then tells me that i’m not getting a refund nor my food. When i first call she was yelling at me telling me “nooo you can’t cancel” and then proceed to curse me out thinking she was on mute. when i spoke to the delivery man he wasn’t understanding but rude and hostile and told me “customers service isn’t their concern right now”. He also had the nerve to tell me that i should take the issue up with my credit card company because either way they get paid.Don’t order from this establishment because they don’t know how to treat customers and obviously have low quality food if an order can be made within 2 minutes and sent out for delivery. Don't know what has happened here. Food and service has gone downhill. Ordered on 4/4/2022 - Several items on PuPu platter were over-cooked/old, specifically ribs and teriyaki beef, gave that to the dog. Wings tasted like they were recooked. Missing dipping sauce. My Sesame Chicken had maybe a dozen seeds sprinkled on top, no sesame flavor and the meat was very chewy, tasted more like old pork. On the flip side, the "Specialty"/more expensive dishes were perfect - Gen. Tsos and the Seafood with extra garlic cooked to perfection. Might try again as I have had many good experiences here over the 10+ years but this visit was sub-par. Was actually ill from eating the overloaded MSG food, the Egg Drop Soup had so much corn starch added that I had to thin it out with water (you could have cut it with a knife when cold, it was so thick). Excellent food and fast delivery. Make sure to remind them what sauces you want though... often get forgotten. Saw the other review just below... agree attention to detail isn't always great, my order was wrong once as well, plus they almost always forget to include sauces my husband asks for when we order. When the order was wrong I called and they came back right away with the correct items... they also insisted I return the old food, mine was still in the containers but had been tossed as well. I retrieved them and did hand them over... I thought it was odd but they said they'd had issues with fraudulent claims for free food in the past... this policy helps to curb that I guess... either way I'm pretty sure they trash the stuff once it gets back to the...
