Thank You Sage Kitchen at Anderson's for your wholesome food atmosphere... Our"Fellowshipping &A Foodie" group choice, dine-in eatery for the month was your lovely restaurant. We had a "Great day" at your food establishment... 😂 We really enjoyed your all natural home-made foods menu, and also nestled rite in the heart of beautiful Anderson's Garden Center. The Chunky Chicken salad sandwich on a sweet bread croissant was tasty and sweet potato fries was "Outstandingly Delish" 😋 We gave your lovely restaurant a 5 star rating, because of the many fresh homemade drinks, food, vegetables, herbs and spices, which is good food medicine for the soul... Plus that gorgeous Garden Center of many plants, herbs, flowers, decorative designed items of "Home Sweet Home" indoor and outdoor decors. And a slew of all-home grown Lil Mom & Pop shop items, located rite inside your wonderful establishment... Thanks again Sage Kitchen, will come back now, "Ya hear! 😂 #Let Food be Thy Medicine... Mom and I went to Sage Kitchen today for lunch. Things have changed there so much since we were last there. We got there at 11 when they opened. We had to go up to the Counter to order and get our drink cups and pay. Our order came out in a reasonable time. The food was great. The food came out in disposable containers. We did have to clear our table. I did notice that tables were not being wiped down after customers had been there. I dont know if they disinfect the tables after the first wave of customers or if this is typical now. The prices are expensive 44.00 for sandwiches and sides. We did upgrade our sides, but there are plenty of resturants out there that are great and dont charge 2.00 extra for fries!

I’ve had this place on my list for a while to come try and finally got around to it. I was greeted by a pleasant atmosphere and welcoming staff. The menu is simple but with variety. I went with one of the limited time entrees which was an amazing crispy pork belly sandwich. I paired it with some Mac n Cheese bites which were just as amazing. Generally when I get those at restaurants they are very underwhelming because the Mac is flavorless. Well not with these…they were large and packed with flavor. I had a lemon bar for dessert to wrap it all up and needed a wheel barrel to roll me out of the place. I’ll be returning to try some of the permanent menu items especially the chicken salad.

Worst restaurant experience, I have had bar none. I am, by nature, a patient and laid-back man who extends a wealth of understanding in most situations. This was simply unacceptable. We went there during lunch hour, they told my wife and I that it would take 20-30 mins to get food. We ordered two sandwiches. We wanted to shop a bit, so we ordered, and got a table. We browsed the shop for about 20 minutes since they gave us a card to put on our table to indicate our ticket number and alert them that we were shopping. We got back to the table and waited another 20 mins. I went to alert them and informed the order taker that we had waited for 40 minutes. He confirmed that they had our ticket number, and they were working on it. About 15 minutes later the gentlemen who had ordered just a head of us and had overheard my wife comment that they had finished their meal before we had been served went to the counter to alert them that we had not yet received our food. Another 20 to 30 minutes later, when the place was so quiet the manager/order taker was out cleaning tables, we had still not served. I requested a full refund and was granted it. She initially tried to tell me they must have lost the ticket, and I explained that they confirmed they had it once with me and once with another customer 20 and 40 minutes ago. We waited 180 minutes for food they had not even started to prepare despite being prompted twice. This was by far the worst customer service I have experienced. It's hard not to wonder if this was intentional. I would not recommend this...

This is the neatest little place! It is basically a cafe set inside a garden center...... but not a stinky garden center that is just full of fertilizer bags, but a garden center that has all sorts of gift, Home decor, Etc displays on the inside. All of the plants and that sort of thing are on the outside.

A friend and I came here a few days ago, and because I have to follow a gluten-free diet, I am always a little unsure when I go to a new place if I am going to feel okay later or not. However, I am pleased to report that I ordered the blackened chicken sandwich with blue cheese (minus the bun, of course) with a side of sweet potato fries, and I felt great afterward. Plus, the food was delicious, and there were no gross chunks of fat or tendons or connective tissue left in the the meat. It was so lovely to just be able to eat it without having to look for the nasty bits to cut out. I had heard about the chicken salad here some years ago, and I always thought that's what I would get when I visited, but I am so pleased I got the blackened chicken. It was really yummy!

I was on a some what tight schedule, so I did not have an opportunity to look through all of the lovely displays inside, but this is on my must visit list the next time...
