Szechuan Taste — Restaurant in Virginia

This review is based on my experience with an online order. I have had no interaction with staff. First let me just say that I ordered this food when I was hungry and was really craving Chinese food, so you know I needed to be right when I got it. It wasn't. It was all bad. This was my first experience with this restaurant. I placed my order at about 7:35 pm for pick up around 8pm. They close at 9, so plenty of time to "make" the food. Shrimp in General Tso's Shrimp was soggy and greasy. NOT FRESH AT ALL. Same for the spring rolls. They were so soggy and greasy that they weren't edible. Chicken wings weren't fresh either...they were well seasoned, but so soggy. I also had an order of pork dumplings. They had a funky taste. I told my kids to spit it out. We didn't eat it. So this year, most of the Chinese food restaurants are closed for Thanksgiving which forced my family and I to find a new spot for today. This place was open. We gave it a shot - and I'm so glad that we did!

Somehow the food tasted cleaner, lighter than our favorite restaurant. I dare say - regarding the steamed meat dumplings - possibly, probably actually made from scratch! If they were not, they tasted as if they were!

TERRIBLE! THE WORST! AWEFUL! We couldn't even order our food. We would pick something we like but instead of rice want lo main or noodles. It says that you can upgrade for $1.00. So we tried ordering different food, and each time the woman continued to tell us NO. How can anyone running a business continue to tell you no around 10 times before we finally got aggravated and said you know what just keep your food. Didnt even apologize for refusing to serve us any kind of food. This place is terrible please dont...
