Overall a good experience. Had a hard time understanding the waitress. She had a slight accent, but the real problem was that she was speaking softly (and quickly) and the restaurant was pretty loud. Fortunately I think(?) we ended up figuring everything out. There's a salad bar towards the front of the restaurant. You pick up a plate from the salad bar and start off with a salad. The server also brought us french fries, fried bananas(?), mashed potatoes, and bread. There's a little two-sided, color-coded, circular paper placard on the table in front of each seat. You flip it from red to green when you decide you're ready to start eating meat. Once you do this, employees will start to come around with large skewers of meat. Each one will generally bring a different type of meat (e.g. chicken, steak, lamb, etc.). They'll start to cut off a slice for you and then you'll take the little tongs that they provide to take it and place it on your plate. As far as I could tell, you reuse your salad plate for the meat. At the end, the server brings a plate with fake plastic(?) depictions of the various desserts they offer. They had Brazilian cheesecake, pecan pie, etc. Waitress wasn't very attentive, but to be fair, I think she was serving like half the tables in the restaurant. She was definitely scrambling from table to table trying to keep up with demand. One nitpick was that the hostess asked us if we had a reservation even though we had already said "two please." People don't say "two please" if they already have a reservation. Instead they say something like "I have a reservation for 7pm." Asking if we have a reservation when you already know that we don't comes across as a passive-aggressive way of complaining that we should've made a reservation. Quality of the food was pretty good. Everything I tried at the salad bar was very good. All of the plates brought to us by the waitress were very good as well. The meat was just okay, considering the price and the fact that it's a steakhouse.

The aesthetic and customer treatment at this restaurant are 5 star, but the top priority of any restaurant should be its food. This place just gives you one half of an exquisite meal and charges you full price. If you don't know about Brazilian steakhouses, there are waiters carrying around random servings of meat, and if you flip your little coaster to the green side, they will stop at your table and offer you some. The entrance fee is high but it's all you can eat meat. There is also a salad bar. While it was a whimsical experience having such well-cooked and often exotic meats brought directly to my table, it doesn't take long for the meat sweats to set in. Eating gratuitous amounts of straight meat with nothing to go with it gets gross fast, regardless of how well it is cooked. The salad bar options were just as plain as the meats and there was just a complete lack of actual food preparation. Food needs to be more than just cooked well, it needs to be paired with complimentary flavors and textures as well. This place just outright does not do that. I think a good comparison is stone's cove's sirloin, which will hardly win any awards for top steak, but is paired so well with tasty cheese grits and mashed peppers that the overall experience is superior to the plain, meaty powerhouse Texas de Brazil offers. The one thing they offer that defies this trend is the free roasted banana dessert, but you don't get too excited because it's pretty small. Also the cost to sit down for one person is just shy of $50, which doesn't cover gratuity or drinks or dessert. It's a joke. And don't for a second be tempted by their mouth watering display of desserts. That amazing coconut crumb pie is actually a pathetic, deflated mess when you order it. This place is what you would get if Arby's decided to be an all you can eat buffet for bourgeois white collar Americans.

This place was just overpriced for what you get, the servers don't care if you don't want something they just push and push and push even when you've said no multiple times. We had our server push a bottle of wine on us and we had to literally force her to to stop pushing the wine. Then she proceeded to push soda onto us even when we said we wanted a coke she said she can bring a Brazilian soda instead. Then said nothing about the cost of water which was 8$ a bottle, which isn't even worth it. Then between the meats coming even though we had flipped to red they just kept coming and coming and coming back. It got to the point where we just got overwhelmed and annoyed by the meat servers. The waitress was constantly hovering by the table and made us uncomfortable. Then when we had enough of the torment of meat, we asked for the bill which took 15 min to even get. We first got bombarded with "do you want cake, you sure you don't want it to go or for here, you can take it to go." Meanwhile we have said no multiple times to the cake, then came the Onslaught of "do you want to donate to some charity and get cash back." I had to literally raise my voice and say no after saying no 8 times to the bombardment of charity donations. Then she literally hovered over me while I payed the bill and even then it asked for a donation. This place is such a rackett of pushing stuff you don't want onto you. I don't think we will ever want to return to this mediocre clown show of a restaurant, the staff don't care about what you want, they only care about what they can sell. My recommendation is just to avoid this place and save yourself 60$ a person and go to Golden corral and get better food.

This was my families first time going to Texas de Brazil. The food was good… some of the meats were very tough to chew on but overall the flavor of the food was delicious. It’s definitely a beautiful place. We went on Sunday evening for dinner with friends. We were charged $53.99 (adult price) for our 11 year old son so I called left a message a few mins after we left. The next day (which was today) I did not receive a call back so I called them back. Spoke to a manager on duty and explained to him that we were charged adult price for my 11 year old son. He stated that since we did not let the host know that he was a kid that he couldn’t do anything about it. My son looks young the host and server should have asked his age not once did the host ask if there were any kids in the party and since that was our first time going I didn’t think anything of it either. When the bill came my husband and our friend just handed their cards. But after we left I noticed and called right away left a message. After several of minutes of talking to the manager he said that he would contact corporate to see if they would do anything about it but stated that he did not promise anything. $53.99 for an 11 year old is ALOT to pay I am definitely not happy about the situation specially since none of the employees asked his age or if there were any children. Hopefully corporate really does something about it! Dessert Review: The flan is ALOT better then the crème brûlée. Also, the server said that the ice cream came with the dessert (not once did he say that it was an additional cost) just so you know it’s an additional $5.00 if you want ice cream with dessert.

I've been to one other Texas de Brazil in Nashville and our dinner was terrible, so I was a bit apprehensive when visiting this one. Thank goodness it surpassed all expectations. The salad bar is adequate. I have been to others that have more selection, but this does have lots to choose from. I don't know if I would want to solely do the salad bar here like I can do at others, but it is a great addition to the meats. The goat cheese was absolutely to die for and the chimmicurri sauce was spectacular. There were lots of cheeses, vegetables, soups, potatoes, and more to choose from. The table also has mashed potatoes, fries, fried banana, and cheese rolls. The meats came out medium rare as requested and the couple times they came by telling us medium or another temperature, we politely declined. It was nice to have the offer though. The only thing I wish this place (chain) has is the pineapple on the skewers. Those are always the most delicious and none have had them. But, the meats were amazing and they even had jalapeno poppers. What a fun surprise. The service was amazing. On top of it with food and drink. Never lagged and we never waited long for more meat. It was not very busy for a Monday night either, especially at 7pm. I'd gladly come back!

Never fails to impress me. This place is great for any type of social gatherings. Never seen staff working so hard. Always busy, if they are not serving, they are cleaning or resetting tables, ensuring floors are spotless and back to being attentive to customers. Carlos was our server. We made a point of finding out when he worked as he was so professional, engaging, attentive but not overly so. Great experience. Food was great. Salad bar is above and beyond the normal lettuce and tomato. Food in abundance. Honestly, you you ever leave this place hungry, something has gone drastically wrong. Not the run of the mill cheapo place to eat but you really get what you pay for. Fantastic experience. If you want a quiet romantic intimate meal for two, forget the quiet bit 🤪🤪🤪. Kids are made welcome and there is every type of food for everyone. If after all of the salad bar and the endless supply of meat (if you don’t turn card from green to red) it just keeps coming. Try it, you will love it and a well deserved 5/5 stars. Ten if I could. Love it 😍
