I went in about midnight. I was third, & last in line. 10 minutes later I was still 3rd, but out of 5 people, as a few more people came in. 5 mins later, still 3rd out of 6, another got in line. After 20 mins I decided to just sit down & wait until I could actually walk right up to the register. That took 40 minutes!!40 minutes to serve 5 people. I was standing there for several minutes while the cashier glanced at me a few times, but continued playing with his hair & talking to the manager. Finally a man walked in & asked me if he could order or if i had yet, & after I replied that I was still waiting THEN the cashier, who had seen me in there for 40 minites, FINALLY walks over to his register & asks me "Can I take your order?" Yeah, really. Unfortunately, they're the only place open that side of town at that time of night. So I order my food, 2 people order behind me. Another 15 minutes later (while the cashier & MANAGER took a trip next door to Pilot), the 2 who ordered behind me (both of which had larger orders) had their food but I did not. A few minutes later I walk up to the register to ask for my money back. I had decided I would just eat some snack food from the gas station. But the COOK came from the back to greet me, (bc once again the cashier & manager were too busy standing around doing absolutely nothing except chit chatting with each other), & he was very sweet, courteous & professional (the only person working there who is), & asked me what I had ordered. I told him nuggets & fries, & he immediately went & made, & served me my order. So it took an HOUR for me to get my food. I kept considering the drive across town to Taco Bell, but SURELY I'd have my food before I could do that. Nope. In the end it would be been faster to drive to Taco Bell, which is what I will absolutely always do from now on! The only positive thing I can say about this Wendys is that they have 1 good employee that should actually be trained for the manager position. I know this is a long review, but I felt the need to explain what happened, rather than to just say it took me an hour to get my food. I will NEVER go to that Wendys again, & indeed I think its turned me off...
Read moreGuy before me order the same as I did, a Dave's Double. When the cashier rang me up I tried paying with points. She said it failed. I tried again and she said that it failed again. I said i don't know why that it is failing, because I have more than enough points to cover it. Finally another lady came over and hit some button and it went through.
The guy in front of me received his sandwich in about a minute. I however had to wait 11 minutes. Why I am not sure. But after I ordered it seemed like everyone disappeared. About 8 guests were waiting in line for four minutes until someone came back up front. At this point I noticed that the cashier had an ear bud in her ear and was hanging onto her phone and talking to someone it seemed. When she started taking orders she had to kept asking for people to repeat themselves.
Weather she was on her phone or not I definitely don't know. But it sure did seem like it. I like wendy's a lot, but definitely very poor customer...
Read moreThe customer service here was not up to standard. The manager was the most unfriendly, inhumane person that I have ever encountered. Was in the drive thru and there was the Orange Tabby kitten that was a stray. This very nice lady was trying to catch the Kitten and take him to a rescue. She had mentioned to him that she was there about a month ago and was concerned about the Kitten's well-being. The manager needs some re-training on his personal skills or just being a decent human. She was just trying to help a defenseless creature to safety and out of harm's way. I pray that someone is able to find and rescue this beautiful Kitten and find his forever home. I can understand the need to keep the drive thru lane open, but there was a mom.ent of about 15 to 20 minutes where there were no customers. From my POV, I didn't see a problem with here being there to try and...
